Today was my sixth attempt and it went much better. I was able
to reach the nasopharynx through all six meatuses! I'd had no
success with any on the right side until today. I definitely
felt the balloon advance past the turbinates on each attempt
today, but once it inflated into the space beyond, I didn't
really get any feeling of expansion or release. I did feel some
pressure in one of my ears a couple times. Since this was the
first day were I was consistently reaching the nasopharynx, I
think I was being a little conservative and deflating the
balloon once I had reached the nasopharynx. I think I need to
give it a couple more squeezes once I'm inside. Reading through
the instructions again, I'll try to keep inflating until I feel
the expansion through to both sides of the face as described. I
definitely feel like I'm making progress! Thanks again to
       everyone who has offered guidance!

       You got it really quick!.
It took me 1-2 months to master the technique

This could become addicting! On my seventh session today, I was
able to reach the nasopharynx through all six meatuses again,
and (now more accustomed to the sensation) I tried to continue
inflating until I felt expansion on both sides of my face. This
resulted in some subtle but satisfying shifts and cracks.
Now that I'm pretty confident in the technique, I have to decide
if I will continue with a standard nasal release routine,
inflating equally on both sides through all meatuses, or if I
want to try selectively treating certain locations. Let me know
what you think, and if you have any suggestions about choosing
where and when to treat. Thanks!

You should treat 1 side a day depending on your nasal cycle
For example, I always treat mine around 10am - 4pm
       - Let say I inflate my right side today at 2pm because my
passages were open at that time
       - I will rest tomorrow
       - And do another inflation to my left side on Tuesday whenever
       it's open
I choose to treat myself when my passages are open because it's
easier for the cot to go thru. it's not necessary

How can you tell when the passages are open? Press the opposite
nostril closed and try to breath?

Based on Improv's advice to treat one side per session, I
decided to treat only my right side today (day eight). I felt
some pretty good expansion, especially through the bottom
meatus. I read over the "asymmetrical method" section in Ben's
instructions again, where he says treating one side at a time
seems to be more effective. He also mentions an option that some
people focus their treatments on the side that is most "narrow"
or needs "expansion." I'm not entirely sure how to assess that.
My face looks pretty symmetrical aside from the bridge of my
nose deviating to the left. I'm debating if I should treat the
right side more often since that side of my nose is more
"narrow" (e.g. treat the left side once for every three days
when I treat the right). Alternatively, because my nose bends to
the left, my left eye is closer to the bridge of my nose, so
maybe that side is more "narrow" and needs more expansion?

Well, NCR is often used to catapult the results of other
treatments that are related to facial changes
Could be braces, palate expansion, facepulling or Myo functional
       therapy.
You may need to combine NCR with something else to obtain more
profound changes. Since NCR will help you to reach your current
potential rather than going beyond it
Remember that every human has a natural asymmetry and it is, in
fact, a characteristic of beauty. Studies have shown that
perfect symmetry could cause disgust to perception.
However, NCR has plenty of other assets to consider, which make
it a powerful tool to improve one's health. If it were not for
NCR, I wouldn't be breathing like I do these days

Yeah, I doubt NCR will straighten my nose. I'm more hopeful that
it will help with my headaches and maybe catalyze some of the
maxillary changes from proper tongue posture and swallowing
technique. Eventually, I might try face pulling. I'm just
debating if the deviation in my nose suggests that I should
treat one side more than the other with NCR.

I understand. But that decision is up to you in my opinion,
as you've already stated, Ben mentioned that some people decided
to treat one side more than the other because they felt like.
Maybe because their sides were highly asymmetrical and they
wanted to make them look more even, which is obviously not your
case since you mentioned that you have a good symmetry.
I think that you should keep it simple like you've been
doing and wait for the best. You did an excellent job getting
       the technique incredibly quick.
But then again, those are only my thoughts. There's not a
proven consensus about the best way to proceed for self-NCR, I
like to stick to what the practitioners do, but I'm sure there
are more rewards for those willing to experiment on their own
       and find a better approach.
I like that you're taking the time to share your experience
and every single step you take, it's something that was not
being done here since a long time. Usually, people just come and
take what they need to leave and never return. Not even I take
the time to write down the experience with NCR after it helped
me in so many ways. However, I try to help a little, at least.
Keep it up reenochrobinson, some fresh insight in the
       methods is always well received.
