Re: CHAPTER 11-13: UNVEILING THE GIVER'S WORLD

Chapter 11
•Really for me, I could not give up the hills or snow because
these two transmit feelings, feelings of happiness, joy, really
would be painful albeit impractical in the community. But
according to the text, all people don't know nothing about these
matters just know Jonas and the giver.
Chapter 12
• I think that green color, because the green are in all parts,
for example in the nature, in all plants, we can see the green
in different contexts, also the green color transmit to each one
peace, because as we know the nature is an amazing wonder. For
other hand, another color is the blue, this color are in all
parts in the water, in the sky, and represent the life for us.
Chapter 13
•I am not agree in some things with Jonas, because all the
society need have a good choice in some things, for example in
choice a good career, in choice a good job and more things. But
I think that all people should have the freedom to choose what
you think suitable for all not only in benefit the individual
but for the whole community. In conclusion each have the
responsibility of choice what is the more benefit for all,
because that's how people are forming themselves for a better
future, not all our decisions going to be really good but us
will be aware.

1. Can you imagine giving up such things as snow and hills
because they are impractical?
No I can't, because that things are important for us. Snow or
hills are like sand and the oceans, they are part of our natural
world, they bring us life like water and trees and we can't
replace them. Also, as we are in contact with our environment,
they bring us great moments that are related to happiness. For
that reason we must take care of them.
2. Imagine a world without color. What color would you miss
most?
I'd miss most color blue because we can see it in the sky and
the ocean. Both are infinite and when I look at them I think
that wishes and dreams are always possible, without limits.
3. What value, if any, is there to Sameness?
Sameness value is that people are totally equal in the way that
there are any difference and envy between them. Sameness is
really important in Jonas' society because they want to
establish a stable society in which everyone look and have the
same things.
4. Do you agree with Jonas that people have to be protected from
wrong choices?
No, I'm not agree with him because I think that people must be
free to take their own decisions and if they took wrong choices
they must consider them in future decisions. :)

* Chapter 11:
-It´s possible imaginar those things, however they have a great
important in the construction of our world, because the snow and
hills are the elements that permit the diversity of landscapes
in the environment, also they make the most beautiful memories
of our lives, otherwise everything could be: sadness, loneliness
and common.
* Chater 12:
-Well, imagine a world without color is impossible, because it´s
the characteristic that permit differentiate one thing from the
other, such as know to recognize each part of the all. In the
same way, the red will be the color that I will miss most,
because besides of be my favorite, it constitutes a primary
color from which it derived much others.
-Second, the sameness value represent a factor of a lot
important in the construction in the Jonas society, that permit
carry out a daily live without discrimination.
Chapter 13:
-I´m in disagree with this idea, because the people have the
obligation of be wrong and learn from these, for later
understand the good and bad of life.

CHAPTER 11:
No, because this places are so beautiful and part of our
environment, allow to know more about our country or city. Maybe
this places aren't important to Jonas, but it is so important
for other people, for example, people who enjoy it.
CHAPTER 12:
I miss the color blue, because it represents freedom and calm,
and I like this. Well, all colors give us a good place to life,
also all colors represent some feelings, emotions and memories,
like Jonas's history.
CHAPTER 13:
No, because we choose our decisions, maybe we will make some
errors, but we learn and improve our decisions in the future.
Also, I think is important tell with our parents or another
person for choice a correct opcion.

Chapter 11:
No, because they are things fun and relaxing for children and
even adults things. In addition, there is always a solution for
everything and how humans control the climate in the story,
they could create a specific place where there will snow and do
not disappear it, as they did.
Chapter 12:
I think that it would not have sense, miss only one or two
colors, because almost all things that exist in this world have
many colors and even the sky has not a full color, because has
different shades. So if I could see one color, are sure that I
will miss the other colors.
Chapter 13:
No, because in that case humans won't have the freedom and will
lose the sense of their existence. In addition, it is true that
we make mistakes, but it's part of our nature and we have accept
that sometimes, from those mistakes leave amazing things which
shape our true sense of life and for which purpose we were
created.

CHAPTER 11: I could not give up these things, especially the
mountains , I have lived long surrounded by them , I have become
accustomed to their presence , so that his absence would
monótoma life, well I think something is and have a great
importance for humanity .
Chapter 12:
A world without color, would be like a drummer without bagetas ,
color is very important because you can see how wonderful the
world is. I miss more purple, because it's my favorite color,
and "red" the latter is crucial, represents the greatest feeling
of all time "love" .
The other question , I can not understand
Chapter 13 : I do not disagree with Jonas , I think that people
are free to make their deciciones and take responsibility for
the consequences of these , whether favorable or not; because
that is life learn from your successes and mistakes , to gain
experience.
