CHAPTER 9-10: THE MEMORIES OF THE WORLD

In Chapter 10, Jonas finds out just what it is that a Receiver
receives: the memories of the whole world. Some
will be comforting, exciting, or exquisitely beautiful. Others
will be horrifying, sickening, or nearly unbearable.
These memories will give Jonas the wisdom he will need to advise
the rest of the community. What might be the world's best
memories and what would be the world's worst memories for

I think that the world's best memories are the feelings, the
epics moments where the family gathers and more beautiful
places such as the beach, the snow's mountain and the free
field :D. On the other hand world's worst memories are the wars,
the deaths, the sadness, the hungry and the poverty. :'(
However the best or worst memories are a part of the life, not
all everything has to be rosy, always a person have to know and
enjoy everything that life gives them however good or bad it is
and not only this should be on a person as in the world of
Jonas. >:( :-[ :-\

I think that the worldīs best memories are those that make we
feel new feelings of happiness like a moment on family sharing
all experience that brought love and cheerfulness, or the moment
when we help to the other people. This memories make people more
conscious about our necessities. ;D
But in other hand there are worst memories where is present the
malice and envy .Wars, hungry are the representation of that. A
world where some people only see their comfort, and they forgot
to help other people that die slowly. :'(

For me the best memories of world would be all related to family
and friends, for example the born of a new baby, your best
friends, your parents, when you marry, etc. Also the traditions,
customs, stories, gastronomy and all the cultural diversity of
each country in the world. ;D :D
On the other hand, for me the worst memories are related with
the violence and the transgression of Human Rights like wars and
genocides. Also the different diseases, natural disasters and
epidemics. :-\ :'(

Ok, mainly I think that the most beautiful and comforting
memories must be those that mankind has felt happy and glorious
furor since those primitive as love or affection as a reaction
to a sign of affection, a kiss, couple dance, a kiss, until
those that are more complex, like the joy of winning or excel
at something, a championship or be proud for something. But, in
the other hand also there are the unpleasant sensations, like
in that society the death isn't called death, called "release"
that is a kind of euthanasia, but the memories where really show
the essence of the death could be so painful, other memory could
be the sunniest feeling and melancholy , feelings contrary to
the first which are comforting in these memories may be present
loneliness, abandonment, desolation and separation.

I think that the world's best memories are those who spent with
family like Christmas, these are things very valuable for me
because here are the most beautiful feelings in the world as
love. In addition, there are places and natural phenomena that
are beautiful as the rainbow or the "super moon". ;D
On the other hand, the world's worst memories are: wars, here
are many deaths, there is fear and disunity; hungry and crime .
All these events are made with bad feelings and are
life-threatening :( :-\

I think the best memories in the world are those that make you
thank one more day of life, i.e. the moments where share with
your families, feelings with someone of the opposite sex, those
days where you spent with friends and doing one without so
things that you just understand or those wonderful landscapes
and our whole nature. On the other hand the worst times are bad
attitudes man wars, envy, poverty, discrimination, etc.

I consider that the better memories would the birth of a baby,
feeling the beginning of the life in our hands :3 , see the sea
in a sailing ship, the colors i n a rainbow, the rain, the music
of the violin, of a piano, of a cello , or the musicians like Yo
Yo Ma, the warmth of Cristmas, cheerful music, celebrations
where a lot of people enjoyed, the love , how is the love , a
couple, the chocolate, the laughter of children with their
parents, etc. there are many things in the life that become very
beautiful memories.
In other hand the world's worst memories would the war, the died
of to be loved, the hunt of animals, the human trafficking, how
a mother is separate of her sons, fights in the family, the
children being abused, the fear at your parents, etc.
I consider this last memories are very painful for a person who
is just beginning to see the world through different eyes. :-[

It is very sad know that Jonas does not live in a real society
with the problems and situations of a true world :'( :'( :'(

I think that the best memories of the world are the happiness,
love, knowledge, a birth of a baby, the family and every thing
that include humans and their lifes... The Human life is
beautiful because is really a mystery that we use every thing of
the nature to have a sustainable life, and this must be the best
memorie of the world. On the other hand, the world's worst
memories would be a die, the wars, the hunger, the orphanhood, a
sad loss, poorness, when our father are separate of her sons,
and all pertaining to those situations.

The most beautiful memories that could receive and that is
mentioned in the story is the sleigh ride in the snow.
Personally, I have never seen snow, but it is a dream to meet
her; so if I had the opportunity to have a memory in it that
happiness as mine. Other fond memories I would love to hear your
stay in beautiful places and natural landscapes such as
waterfalls or towering mountains where you can see the entire
horizon. In addition, through the memories, it would be
fascinating to know new cultures, languages ​​and
customs and the various dances and meals.
Everything beautiful in memories would "know". But if you ask me
some horrible memories that are terrible and hurt remember them
as in the Jonasīs case, as it would be anything negative in
life. Starting with the sadness and suffering of seeing people
die of hunger or cold, poor children beg for bread :-[ :'( ,
cold wars and painful deaths :'( . I think for any of these
would be horrible memories, but I think what most hurt, would
see injure people you love most: the family. :D
