I believe that governments don´t disclose the full truth of
events and manipulate information. they only disclose what is
beneficial for them, so they don´t lose the approval of the
people and don´t have inconvenient for his government..... :-*

In my opinion, some goverments want the best for his country.
This cause more trust and self-confidence between citizens and
leaders. But exist many events that generate conflicts and also,
rebellions. For example, in Mexico with the power of Peña Nieto,
Mexico each time the economy is decreasing, there are more
assaults and murders that cause panic and scare in citizens. But
the president expresses to the media that his country is going
on the right track and the media view him, "The savior of
México". In Perú, I think that would exist some cases that the
goverment hides or simply they don't want the people to know.

From the point of reality, governments always keep secrets or
problems that society must not realize certain things to remain
calm and avoid a revolt or rebellion in attempt to overthrow the
rulers; Napoléon is similar to what you do with dogs
representing the KGB (the secret police of Stalin) in an attempt
to silence and hide these secrets.

In my short life, I have witnessed many events related to this
topic but what I can say is that many governments have not been
completely honest to the people, because having the power can or
has access to handle the situation according their convenience.
In addition, certain things have kept it for himself, but I
think that sometimes can be as convenient as there are
situations that can seriously affect the population and can
cause unwanted reactions. However, although they keep some
secrets, which I do not think that information is handled or
situation to their advantage, taking advantage and are selfish.
Our country is a corrupt country where many have covered the
truth to benefit, but if we continue like this and nobody does
anything, this will continue so in the end, the decision is us
ourselves are a democratic country, it is not true. ??? :)

Of course not, current governments never show all to persons. It
is very simple the reasons for not doing so. First because in
one way or another you create injustice by the government, many
times not by wanting to do something bad, but by mistake or
chance. On the other hand, perhaps many minds or persons are not
"prepared" to receive such news and mentally would be affected.

im totally sure that if the goverment tell us all the tings that
are happening in our country, it will be a real disaster, i
agree with the goverment when they said that they have to hide
some things for the goodness of our country, but also i thinks
that they could tell u the most important and relevant things
because we are a nation and we have to be part of the important
knowledge, and why not the important choice. ::)

in my point of view I believe that not always the rulers of a
country say with complete truth all events. For example in Peru,
during a government almost always news of good works that are
done are given, because obviously if it becomes aware of
irregularities during a government, then the people rebelled
against the government, However, at the end of the government,
you can get to know with greater certainty all actions between
good and bad. For that reason I think that governments should
not conceal their actions, and instead should work or try to
create a transparent government, where they act solely for the
benefit of the community. :(

If well it´s true that all the governments have the obligation
to inform to their nations about all the things the involve the
general interests, and many of them doing it, I think that
currently, there isn´t any government that not hide information
for its own benefit.
For example, one of our last Peruvian presidents continues being
investigated about the disappearance of more than ten thousands
people to cause of militar activity in his government period.
With this, I only want to emphasise that we, as citizens, have
the right to receive true information about our State.

Governments today if they conceal information to its citizens
but sometimes for the safety of himself and the case of NASA
about life on other planets, or what the Russian government or
even the Chinese and clear our country is no exception and that
through the smoke that manage to create the settlers can not be
found out many things hidden state and this is not fair because
if elejimos them was by confidence and they do not have that to
us
