Books to have at hand while translating Autumn
By: Ninna Date: February 28, 2018, 12:04 pm

Dickens: A Tale of Two Cities
       Huxley: Brave New World
       Ovid: Metamorphoses
There are quotes from all of the above - so you'll need them in
       your own language!
       All best,
       Ninna from Denmark

       Hello Nina,
Great idea of Jerzy to initiate this forum. I am the French
translator of Ali, I did all of her French translations : Hotel
World, The Accidental, Girl meets Boy, There but for the, How to
be both. I'll begin working on Autumn... in winter (2018). If I
can be of any help... Good luck to everybody !

Towards the end of the book (page 198 in my PDF file) there is
also a direct quote from Shakespeare's "The Tempest" (Act 1,
       Scene 2, Ariel's song).

And on page 79 there are lines from "To Autumn" by John Keats
and "In the White Giant's Thigh" by Dylan Thomas. Check if these
poems have already been translated into your language.
