       Hi! This forum is a meeting place for literary translators. When
       working on a book, we often come across certain problems that we
       are left to deal with alone. Imagine, however, that you could
       talk to somebody working on the same book, just translating it
       into a different language. In case of bestselling writers there
       might be as many as 20 or 30 people "processing" the same text.
       Why not pick each other's brains?
       So here is how I imagine we proceed:
       If there is a title you are working on, let me know and I will
       create a separate section for this particular book. Under this
       section you can post your queries. When posting a new topic
       relating to a specific fragment, it would be useful to give some
       basic information about which edition you are using and where
       exactly the fragment in question can be found (year of
       publication, paperback or hardback, page number, for example:
       2017, PB, 37)
       Inform as many literary translators as you know about this
       forum. It has a chance to be practical and helpful only if the
       community here is large enough.
