Grab-bag of Randomness

Basically what this thread is, if you're online and find a
video/article/image that strikes you as fun or interesting or
educational and you want to share it with people, you can post
it here! People can also comment on other's random posts. So
just a thread for things that you find fun to see, that you
think other people might also find fun to see.
Main rules: Keep stuff chat appropriate (as always) and be wary
of posting anything that might lead to an inflamed debate (such
as certain political/religious issues).

Star, I absolutely LOVE this idea. I loved the video that you
had, the physics of liquids is always a very interesting
subject, no matter what they are.
So, I am going to take your science based vid, adn raise you

This video is about the enzyme, Topoisomerase, both I and II.
They work together during the DNA replication process to uncoil,
and open the super-coiling portions of the DNA in each of our
cells. My research that I do in the lab deals with TopoII, in
which we use targeted inhibition to either deactivate, or
overstimulate the TopoII enzyme when used in cancerous cells.
This will either lead the cell to apoptosis (cell death) through
the DNA being to supercoiled, and unable to divide, or the DNA,
basically being chopped into tiny little pieces. Basically, we
are trying to poison the cells to death.

or spark ideas is worth a peek.

The headers at the top of the site and the search should help
you navigate, but it can be fun to dive into something varied to
kick some creative sparks, like the List of 30's for NPCs

which have given me
some inspiration in the past. ;) Style and quality varies a bit
with the author, so try a few and pick your favourites. The

don't know, you have two robots in an arena/cage whose goal is
