Hmm... to reply to Leon and Miran, maybe we could indeed keep it
between ourselves, but then, the initiative will always stay
very small. And there are other players outside of the BoH who
might benefit from RDF.
One thing that makes me believe that RDF could get a mention in
DNs is the fact that geo advertised TheRuinedShadow's Youtube
channel in a DN:

Technically, any other Youtuber who records DF videos could
pretend to a mention in a Design Note, and that didn't stop geo
for singling out this one and mention his channel. And then, to
be realistic... how many other clans have their own initiative
of the sort, exactly?
I think that'd be worth a try at the very least.
Edit: I support Kalanna's idea of opening up a new forum for
this!

While I like the idea of the new forums and spreading it to AEF
in general, I think we do need to be cautious of coming off as
too pushy, especially since it's not the best idea to get a veto
from Mel, and then go past her and talk to Geo/Tomix (I know
that's not exactly what's going on, but it gives me that kinda
vibe).
I think that we should test the initiative with just our clan
first, maybe for a month or to the point of getting through the
DragonEgg saga? From there, it's both easy for others to catch
up if its successful and we spread it to the forums, and we have
PLENTY of content to go to afterward. I also think the sooner we
start, the better, if we want create a section to put all of the
threads that Kalanna suggested.

I'll be trying to get the threads up ASAP. In the meantime,
perhaps someone can help me out with planning the quest
assignments?

So we have a shiny new section! You'll find some of the topics
we decided upon there, and once we get going I'll work on
expanding the other topics.
Right now I'm aiming for a mid to late July start. But here's a
question, what day do we want quest assignments to be posted?
Fridays are out due to DF releases, and considering how they
have been pushed to Saturdays, I would like to avoid that day as
well. I'm thinking either Sundays, Mondays or Wednesdays, but
I'd like to hear everyone else's thoughts.

Sundays would be great since they give people a full 5 days to
play through releases. And some of them will require farming
depending on how RNG likes you... *glares at True Mortal's
Forest Gate*
Also, yay for the shiny new section!
As for the mid to late July start, it's a good idea but
unfortunately my access to computers and wi-fi will be nearly
nullified during that period. I'll try to help as much as I can
before that happens though, in the hope that the fun indeed
starts on that period! :)

I would say either Sunday or Monday, that way we should avoid
the DF release and can find time in our schedules with the work
week whenever.

I posted it in the announcement thread in the section, but I'll
post it here as well.
The first round of quest assignments for Rediscover DF will be
released July 26!
