Hey guys, I know I'm not really a part of this, but I just wanna
put my two cents in. First, The Count of Monte Cristo

darker
subjects such as truth, authoritarianism, and there are mild
sexual themes. There's also black magic and an exploration as to
the nature of religion, mysticism, and atheism. And I know that
makes it sound really boring, but the basic premise is: The
Devil arrives in Moscow in the mid 1920's, during the Communist
regime. TELL me you don't want to read that. Anyway, hope you
enjoy these books, and even if you don't read them during the
book club, you should really check them out at some point. I
think y'all might enjoy them!
