Paranoia RPG

Imagine a world designed by Kafka, Stalin, Orwell, Huxley,
Sartre, the Marx Brothers. This is Alpha Complex, the setting of
Paranoia.
Paranoia is a personal favorite game of mine and I'd love an
opportunity to play it all with you.
It's a dystopic, sci-fi, tabletop RPG, but not like D&D, no. In
this game, your enemies are the other players.
You can't just kill them though, you have to be cunning. You're
being watched so you'll have to "prove" they are going to betray
your glorious leader.
Did I mention that? Alpha Complex is led by a giant computer
that is paranoid of communists and mutants.
But one of you will be a traitor, and one of you will be a
mutant, with a great power.
The fun of this game is not knowing everything about it, so you
pass notes (or in this case send private messages) to the GM so
not everyone knows what you are doing. You can pass notes
amongst yourselves if you trust eachother.
The backstory: you have all recently been promoted to RED
clearance, above the INFRARED clearance. You must have turned in
a friend for treason or something.
You have been hired to be troubleshooters. Your job description?
Find the trouble Friend Computer tells you about. Shoot at it.
Part of the fun of this game is [REDACTED YOU ARE NOT HIGH
ENOUGH CLEARANCE TO READ THIS]. So I can't really tell you all
the rules. You can try and find them if you want, and that's
fine, but if you act like you know the rules, you will be
punished.
Everyone has 6 clones along with their original body.
Troubleshooters have a high death rate. I expect you will use a
few of your clones in one mission.
I'm only going to do one mission for now, if it's fun, and the
players want to, we can make a larger campaign, or we can just
do a new mission with new characters.
Also you may get secret missions, which will result in very high
rewards. They may be... treasonous. >.>
I've GMd this game for a long while now, and I can tell you it
occasionally gets ridiculous and often parodies things. Don't
expect the game to be too serious
This is a game about backstabbing though. If you think you can
all be cheerful and a part of a team... it won't work, you'll
only get killed. It's you or them.
Trust no one. Keep your laser handy.
If you want to play please do three things:
1. Comment below telling me. There is no limit to the number of
players. I've had 13 before. I will go through the process with
you of creating your character before hand,so we don't have to
spend all that time on the day we play.
2.Remember to be in character as much as you can in game.
3. Please report for termination (just kidding. You aren't
traitors... yet)
EDIT: I have no date to play picked out yet. Suggest them if you
want!

do this.

Sounds like fun, count me in. I'd recommend we do this sometime
over winter break or at least on a weekend so that people will
have a lot of time to devote to it.
