       Starflame- Floor 87.
I'll be adding bits and pieces to the description as I think of
more cool stuff I want to add to it, but...
In the middle of the room, a tall spiral staircase stretches the
entire height of the room, leading to the floors above and
below. The ceiling is enchanted (Harry Potter Style) so that
it always represents the sky outside the tower. About half way
up the staircase, a loft is built that takes up half of the
room, so that the bottom floor is half covered with a 25 ft
ceiling and half open to the 45 foot enchanted ceiling. At
various other heights along the staircase are portals leading to
       other floors.

By: Gingkage Date: November 28, 2013, 1:15 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
My "floor" is me deciding that being on the second floor was
still not low enough. So I moved it so that it's next to the
tower as a really tiny building, but still connected so I can
easily get to it. You know that little door that seems to have
no purpose at all whatsoever in the tower? It's not the front
door, it's not the back door, it's not leading to any room that
you know of since it's always locked, and there's absolutely no
way through it? Yea, that's my door.
When I do let someone in, which ain't often, the first thing
you'll notice is that it's made of very special glass that's
opaque on the outside, but transparent on the inside (You know
those one-way mirrors that you always see in cop shows? Think of
it like that). You notice this immediately because when you
approach from inside the tower, you can't see inside, but when
you turn around to close the door, you can see into the first
floor. Instead of having a back door, I simply have a wall that
you can easily go through, but it's very strongly magicked so
that it only works for Blaze and myself. For everyone else, it's
impossible to pass through unless I allow it.
Though perhaps the one-way mirror walls are the second thing
noticeable. For bookworms, the first thing you'd likely see is
the library. It's a very large library, though admittedly the
books are all to my taste. So while you'll find most types of
fiction books, you won't find any non-fiction, and you won't
find anything under the 'Romance' genre. At all. But if you want
a good mystery book, or fantasy book, or Sci-Fi, or even the odd
Horror (though I don't have much in that section), you've got a
good chance of finding it. If you want to borrow a book, just
ask. But if you bring it back damaged in any way, there will be
       consequences.
There's a table for reading at, or eating at, or writing at as
there's also a plethora of notebooks and pencils. It's a very
nice table, made of fine wood, with the chairs and bookshelves
being made of the same material. That's pretty much the only
decorative thing that I own, however. The rest of my room is
sparse to the point of being boring with the exception of the
phenomenal view of the forest outside. There isn't even a bed in
my room, just an admittedly comfortable futon-like matt that I
       use for sleeping.
My room also cannot be portaled to. This is for your benefit, as
the horse-sized wolf doesn't take kindly to intruders. If you
want to visit, just knock on the door. That's my floor, feel
free to knock sometime. Just hope I'm not reading when you do.

       I got floor 45.
[s]I've have done much with it yet. Though it seems to want to
       turn into a library/museum type of thing.[/s]
Upon entering the floor you are greeted by large well lit
foyer/lobby. Many bright magical paper lanterns float about and
a massive stone pedestal stands in the center of the room. Upon
the pedestal is great book filled with a registry of all the
books you might encounter later on if you choose to continue. A
great door of aged oak stands on a wall. In order to pass
through the door you need to grab one of the paper lanterns
floating about you. Once through the door you are greeted by
bookshelves lining the walls of varying thickness and subject.
Books on: magic, the elements, history, fictions, genealogies,
prophecy and many other miscellaneous ones besides. As you walk
the halls you occasionally will find artifacts on the shelves or
in heavily locked cases with plaques giving the history of the
items and their names throughout history. Eventually you'll hit
the reading room for those who wish to spend time within and
read the books of old. You may sometimes come across me in the
halls sitting on the floor reading or in my study off the
reading room or sometimes I'm nowhere on the floor.

My floor is 112, right underneath Waldo's floor. I dunno why he
likes 113, but that's where I seem to find him and several
       lookalikes.
You can enter my floor through a convenient slime-green
threadline crack in the tower wall, that runs the entire height
of the tower. In some floors it may be inaccessible if the
occupant has warded their room to prevent intrusion and hasn't
specifically allowed it as an exception. In other floors, where
it's more frequently used (such as the first floor and hopefully
D's) it's grown thicker to resemble more of a cable embedded in
the wall. To use, simply grasp at the line and will yourself in.
If it doesn't work, you're either too distracted with other
thoughts or I'm being antisocial and closed the conduit.
When you arrive, the first thing you'll likely notice is that
there's no floor. At least, none that you can see. Instead you
are supported by a translucent matte of woven thread. This is
about the only structure in my floor that's stable, because it's
connected to the outside. Each fiber flows away into the general
webbing and may move or even disappear without warning. New
threads may also appear, and these shine brightly for a while.
The entire area is a reflection of my thoughts, and I frequently
use it to help sort out my mind. Above the matte is one circular
thread loop, meant as a bit of a news bulletin. Grasp it to be
alerted of the locations of brainstorms, highly unstable areas,
       among other topography details.
Find yourself a nice hammock to lounge in, and it will remain as
long as you're there, as your presence on my thoughts alerts me
and will concentrate enough of my attention towards you that you
have continued support. Do not be concerned if a few threads
disappear; enough will still remain that you won't fall. You may
also wander freely as the position of my thoughts about you
       doesn't matter.
If you find a stickier thread you are recommended not to pursue
it. It may become more snarled or even prickly further on, and
you might get trapped like a fly. Speaking of which, flying in
my floor is not a good idea; unless I suddenly manage to forget
about you entirely threads will pursue and most likely foul your
wings as well as entangling you. If you find a set of slimy,
slippery fibers, especially if they are green, feel free to
slide down them as they are fun and humorous.
Finding me in my floor is not as easy as you might think. Though
I am at the other end of all threads, I won't necessarily be at
the center. You'll have to gather more of my attention threads
and tug, if it's really urgent. By binding them together you
will widen the corridor of thought towards you and I will
necessarily acknowledge you. But if you do so for trivial
reasons when I'm in the middle of something important or
       interesting, I might get annoyed.

By: Miran Tideturner Date: February 3, 2014, 9:10 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
       My floor is #884.
Once you enter the top of the staircase, you see a short
corridor ending at a door made of sky-blue glass, with two doors
of sturdy green oak leading to rooms on the left side, and three
on the right. The first door to the left bears the words "To the
Lavatory, Shower and Bath" in big brass letters, while the other
says simply "Kitchen". On the other side the doors are marked
       "Miran's & Nova's Room", "Guestroom" and "Storage".
While the lavatory bears no surprises whatsoever, "Shower" turns
out to be quite an understatement. On the other side of the door
is a small room dominated by a large cupboard with three smaller
lockers, a wooden stool, and what for all intents and purposes
looks like a glossy, waterproof spellbook. The cupboard's many
shelves contain towels in all colors and sizes, almost two dozen
vials and packages ranging from cherry-blossom scented soap to
something spicy and fizzing, as well as an assortment of sponges
and brushes. Apart from the door leading to the loo, there is
one other, with a huge, rune-inscribed wheel set into the
       frosted glass.
The book manages to shed some light on how to proceed: Put your
clothes into the topmost locker to have them laundered and
dried, or into the lowest if you just want them stored.
Everything you'd like to use in the shower goes into the middle
one. The following pages show in little helpful illustrations
what to expect from the settings assigned to each rune. It soon
becomes clear that a gnomish tinkerer and a capable illusionist
must have conspired with Miran to create a marvel of weather
magic and special effects. From a gentle summer rain to hail
massages (head, feet or full-body), to whirlwind scrubbing
(labelled "Ready to raid in 5 min"), to a full on recreation of
a flight-chase through a thunderstorm at night (surely a fond
memory for the Wind Mistress, but more of a stomach-dropper for
many others) the possibilities seem to be limited by imagination
       and mana reserves only.
For those looking for a less exhilerating and more relaxing
time, there's always the Onsen-style bath, a hot spring in a
large marble bassin, half of it safely indoors, while anyone
looking for a stunning view of the surroundings can swim out
onto what otherwise would be a balcony. (Just trade your clothes
and towel for a pair of bracers in your favourite color and a
cloud of magical fog will preserve your modesty.) The
southernmost edge of the bassin is almost below the kitchen
window, so snacks and refreshments can be easily acquired. The
temperature varies between quite cool and almost scorching, and
the ground rises and falls in steps and little hills and
valleys, so any guest should find a place to sit or lie
comfortably. Most of the flowers and plants of floor 884 grow
around the onsen, from the first plum blossoms in February to
the latest berries of the year, making it a lovely place to
spend the evening, especially to watch the sunset.
(Ooof! Enough for now... I decided to start with the most
luxurious rooms first. I think Miran is spending any excess mana
during not-war times to keep her spells charged. ^^ But hey, I
wanted to have fun, and in what would you invest, if not into
       your home?)

My floor is the 365th. As one can expect from such a number,
       it's perfectly circular.
And, of course, it's full of ovens and plates and plates and
plates full of cookies. And there's a portal leading to a
dimension full of MORE COOKIES! (or there would be, but recently
the Slime Empress has blocked it for unknown reasons). And
before you enter the floor, there's a sign saying "Azan's Floor
       - No solliciting, no monsters, no bearded dwarves". (I'm
       perfectly fine with unbearded ones.)
But, you must know I also claim the area just outside the tower,
since the Tower Butler seems to like punting me out of my window
for his amusement. (oh, well, I guess it's better than getting
       shot.)

Can we claim Floors for non-personal activities?
Because I think the Movie Theater should have its own space
here, as well as the Book Club (complete with library kitties),
and I'm sure we'll come up with more.
Also, I'd like to call dibs on Floor 151 for all things Pokémon
       related. :D

We'll add in the theater on floor 12, then!
And I know somewhere in the tower are libraries (2.5), science
labs, bakeries, kitchens, etc, so if you have one of those you
want in a specific location it should be fine to request a
floor! We do have 999 of them :P

Never officially claimed it but I'm on floor 222.
My room is filled with shelves full of cheese, a salt pool (Also
for cheese) and other cheese making stuff.
There's a rack with magical weapons (Which got a new addition
recently) and an almost unused bed.
The shelves that aren't filled with cheese are filled with books
instead ("As you look you see books called "A Quest of Dragons"
       and "Pocket monsters")
A few chests are filled with Gold and Defenders Medals.
That's about it for my room.
