So since there were very few people, movie night is being
RESCHEDULED.
The new date is Sunday, August 2nd, at 3:00 pm Server Time. I'm
hoping the earlier time will allow for more people to join
before leaving for the evening.

Big Hero 6 is an awesome movie. Well worth the watch. Good

up later. As of now, the tentative watching day will be Sunday,
September 5th, at 4:00 server time (EDT). Post if the date
doesn't work to suggest another time/day for the weekend!

So, Movie Night got postponed because the only person in the
theater was, well, me.
I'm a bit confused. At least 11 people knew about this through
voting, with 9 votes for Big Hero 6. It's also a common trend
the past few times, to have several people say they're excited
to watch the movie, and then have it come around and its only
one or two people watching.
I know that RL is a thing and stuff comes up unexpectedly, but
do people think there's something I can do to better plan this?
Do we need to go back to having a week for people to suggest
dates/times? Do I need to suggest dates but make the time
later/earlier? Do we need to do this less often? Assume that if
no one showed up they were uninterested in the movie and just
select a new one? Please help me out here, I'd love to keep
doing these but it's more fun when we have 4+ people watching.
For now, I'll try to reschedule movie night since a lot of
people seemed excited about Big Hero 6. We'll try for next
weekend, Sunday at 4:00. PLEASE tell me if this doesn't work,
I'm more than happy to adjust it.

Yea. Today ended up not working for me. I was feeling napish and
when I woke up didn't want to trek downstairs to get the movie.

Frankly, I did not vote since I had no interest in the first
place. Hence why I did not want to come. (Though I think I
mention something similar to this in the meeting...) If I were
to suggest anything, it would be to ask for a general consensus
of all who is available and try to average it out. It means the
times will vary widely but it would encompass all who are
interested in it times.

Unfortunately I was busy - I had been invited to a party last
minute so I had no way of being able to predict it and plan
around it. Sorry. :(
