I am the world's biggest liar. I am not fine with whatever time
people can game. I'm going to a movie with my family at around
2, so any game would have to happen either earlier or later than
that if we finish the encounter today.

It seems I am going to have some company. I do not think I am
going to be able to take part in any more than an episodes night
today unfortunately *glums*.

Okay. Here's the deal. The table that I use? End of the month
it's gone. My mom, who is also running into this issue end of
the month, is going to try and find another table (and I'll try
to look myself if I can), but the game might have to be put on
hold indefinitely until a new table can be found.
In THEORY, the table is coming back better/shinier/etc. But I'd
rather not assume it will and find out it won't.

Just letting everyone here know I will not be around for a few
sessions, if they are to be planned. I'm taking a break from
doing things on both the AEF and everything else.

I have a possible table, if this will work for everyone.

It's really complicated. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing yet.
You might want to show up early, whatever next time we come up
with for playing, to play around and experiment.
Star was a huge, huge, HUGE help while I was trying to figure
stuff out. So she gets one free re-roll to be used at her
discretion as a thank you from me.
These might help people with figuring the table out:

Right. I should have mentioned: I need dates and times and the
like for when people can experiment with roll20. Please and
thanks!

Last bit of DM thing for the night (which is an easy decision to
make given that it's almost tomorrow, my time).
Rip is dropping. D is maybe dropped?
So that does mean there's room on the table for people. Aura
said that she, and probably Fae (though I'm not accepting
someone who hasn't said 'Yes' himself or herself, hence the
qualifier) would be interested in joining. Azan also expressed
some interest in this.
I'm not going to say 'no' but there is a requirement I have for
this. You're not joining right away. Sit in for at least a
couple games as spectators to get an idea of if you even want to
put in the time, effort, and energy into making characters in
the first place. My style of DMing might not be to your taste
and I'd hate for you to have wasted the time you could have
spent on something more enjoyable making a character for a game
you don't think you'd enjoy. My mom had that rule for her games,
and darn it, it's a good one. Then, if you still think you'd
enjoy, you can make a character and go 'Ging! Add me!' to which
I'll go 'Okay. How do you want to do this?' and then make that
happen best I can.

For times, well, bad month for me, I guess? I'll be gone 10th to
the 18th for vacation, and then I'll be leaving for college on
the 21st and having orientation week that next week, with
classes starting the 31st. After college settles down, I should
be good on weekends/friday afternoons, but no clue how it'll all
turn out.

So essentially, watch Kal go boomy or Kal/Astraea bicker fights?
I will admit, that does sound entertaining.
Sillyness aside, I would be willing to try out and test the new
table any time. The trouble is, my Terran analog usually visits
family these weekends that live near my work town. My situation
is generally complicated until I end the tenure of my summer
job. The weekend of the 15th though, that Saturday namely, would
be a good evening to do this sort of experimentation, should
others be up for it, for me. I know at least on that day I will
not be doing visits. None planned so far at least.
Since Gingkage is not familiar with the new 5th Edition of DnD
which recently came out, I am assuming we keeping to the 4th
Edition. If anyone including Gin are ever interested though, I
can probably find pdf versions of the 5th E books pretty easily
I think. Likely a matter for much further down the line when it
is a regular activity once again though.
Anyone else up for experimentation any time soon?

Here's the thing. Since Aura seems very confident that the
party's chatter about the games pretty much assures that people
will like it, I'm willing to waive the 'sit in' requirement.
But, that doesn't mean people will get to join right away. That
really does depend on when they join. Currently, it would be
easy for them to join since they just finished a fetch quest,
but if, say, they're in the middle of a dungeon delve, it
wouldn't make sense for a new player to suddenly be able to
join. Likewise, if people are unable to make several games, and
the party is somewhere it wouldn't make sense for them to join
up, they'd have to wait (unless the party votes otherwise,
then... Dumplings). So there might still occasionally be some
spectating happening simply because of how things panned out.
Sound fair to everyone?
