Since there was some confusion on the magic items (someone
thought I was making you buy it), the items are free. My in-game
rationalization is as follows (this all happens right before
y'all start the adventure proper): Your party will just 'happen'
to 'stumble' on a pile of magic goodies. Your Arcanely inclined
people will, of course, check it and well sense that 'we can all
take something, but if we try to take more than one thing, we'll
get cursed' so you all take your one thing from the pile.
So, yes. I'm a generous DM. Meaning no complaints if y'all get
killed. I'm starting y'all off with advantages in spades.
Elryn, the magic item can be any one up to level 2 weapon or
armor in the manual.

[font=georgia][color=#5694eb]First and foremost, thankies Elryn
for your earlier welcome! I'm sorry that I missed it until just
now. :C
Secondly, I've decided I'll play a female elven Devoted Cleric
named Eomos, pretty please! At the moment, she's flitting
between alignment with both Pelor and Melora.

I guess I'll let y'all know what my character is.
Skadi, the Human Ranger. Two Blade Style. I'll post more later.
Stats rolled were 18,17,15,15,13,13. Draketh can confirm those
rolls, he watched me roll them. :p

Okay, so here's the thing. If we use the table I recommended, it
has a limit of nine. So as it stands, there is room for one more
person. I am more than willing to run the same game twice for
two parties. But y'all do need to know this.

I would love to accept that last spot, if you would have me. :)
My character shall be Sisypheus, a Human Paladin.

Well, since you claimed it first, it's all yours, wolf-buddy.
For anyone else that might have wanted to join, I can run a
second game.

I'm really hesitant to say this, but two groups might actually
be a good idea.
With a high number of players, even if everyone is friendly and
dedicated, it can be hard to stay focused and split the
spotlight equally between experienced/spontaneous players and
those who are more "wait-and-see". Of course, it might work like
a charm with one big group, but if it proves to be less fun (or
more exhausting) than expected, splitting is always an option.
Our characters are defintiely strong and diverse enough for
that. :)

Plus it can take a LONG time with this many people. Just my 2
cents.

True. It would get mighty cumbersome if we had to play all day
long so we'd make some progress and everyone gets a chance to
shine.

[font=georgia][color=#5694EB]I can certainly understand the
concerns about the potential of each session growing longer and
more intricate with so many characters over time. I feel it
might be worth giving it a try for a few sessions as a whole
group, and then evaluating how effectively such a large roster
works all together after having made some test runs, thuu. If
things still feel too clunky after a few get-togethers with so
many different characters having to voice actions and
interactions, then splitting up into a couple groups might
indeed then be our wisest choice. Considering we're all here to
run around and kick some butt and nab some loot and have a good
time all together, I have no doubt that whatever happens,
everyone's going to have a hoot with one another!
