Ack... This comes in a bad week. I am very much going to be busy
during the week days.
I talked to Snake on chat though and gave him pointers to get
the basic information of his character set up. The trouble is
that I do not know if I will have time to help him set that up
on the Virtual Table when he has it on hand. You might have to
tend to that instead, Gingkage.
Best of luck.

I will probably be unable to make D&D this week. I have a school
retreat on Saturday where I won't get home until 6:30ish, and
will probably be exhausted afterwards.
As for combat, and think we're at a fairly good place as some of
us are still fairly new at this, but I think as we gain a bit
more experience that we can make the combat progressively
harder/more challenging.

So... Yea. Leon's character died during the solo adventure. If
the party wishes, they can see if they have the combined Gold
for a Raise Dead ritual. Or if he decides he wants to make a new
character, he can do so at level 3. OR, as a third possible
option, I do have a Death's Realm map made. It just needs
monsters added. Y'all can make a quest out of it. Fair warning,
though Death's realm has its own rules to abide by. Those who
cannot learn them and adjust, will find themselves never
leaving.
Sorry, Leon. I didn't actually think you'd drop. :/
Star, in case you wanted it for your D&D recaps, here's the
fluff I had for his death:
"Right as you breath your last, breath, a band of the
townsguard, wanting to seal off the cave, comes by. Seeing the
Sneevil over your body, they scream in rage and strike it down.
Checking you for a pulse, they find none. Sadly, they collect
your items, including what the Sneevil Stole, and bear you back
to town, sadly interrupting the party of the children's safe
return."
The Raise Dead Ritual as it pertains to the party (there's a
small amount of information that's not relevant, so I didn't
include it here):
You bend over the body of your slain comrade, applying
sacramental unguents. Finally his eyes flutter open as he is
restored to life.
Component Cost: 500 gp
Market Price: 680 gp
Key Skill: Heal (no check)Level: 8
Category: Restoration
Time: 8 hours
Duration: Instantaneous
To perform the Raise Dead ritual, you must have a part of the
corpse of a creature that died no more than 30 days ago. You
apply mystic salves, then pray to the gods to restore the dead
creature’s life. The subject returns to life as if he or she had
taken an extended rest. The subject is freed of any temporary
conditions suffered at death, but permanent conditions remain.
The subject returns with a death penalty: –1 to all attack
rolls, skill checks, saving throws, and ability checks. This
death penalty fades after the subject reaches three milestones.
You can’t restore life to a creature that has been petrified or
to a creature that died of old age.
The subject’s soul must be free and willing to return to life.

Hmm... Seeing as none of us are anywhere near level 8, I surmise
we have to pay 500 gold to mage capable in Alvar.
*Elryn scratches his head*
It also begs the question... This adventure was supposed to have
occurred as Leon was going to get help from Ladon previously. Do
we retroactively say he died and we rezed him or call time
hijinks?
Also, to let you folks know, my Terran analog is going off
traveling on vacation on Wednesday so I am not going to be
available for a session for a while yet. If Snake, Starflame and
Deathlord are keen on it, you could have an adventure and
resurrect Leon while I am away. I can always have a separate
solo catch up session with Gingkage when I am back. The latter
being the beginning of September.

I'll leave stuff like how y'all bring him back to y'all. As for
describing things... Um... I think we're gonna call 'wibbly
wobbly timey whimy stuff' hijinks.

I'm sorry. While I've got nothing planned for this weekend, I've
also got nothing prepared. Given that it's not likely that I can
come up with something in only a day, I'm afraid that, no, I
cannot run this weekend.

That's totally fine. I won't be able to make it next weekend,
but the weekend after that I'm probably* free.
*that's a very lenient probably

I will be free most weekends from now on, so anytime on them is
good for me.
