*grins* The more the merrier. Grab five dice, roll them six
times while removing the lowest number and see what stats you
get, Paperclip.
I must say, looking at a video on youtube, this program seems
more fitted to work within a D&D context and give it that D&D
feel I get when I play my own session on Terra. I am all for it.
For the record, here is the video:
HTML http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTH0actyvKM
. For those who have
never played, it might prove interesting to show a first
session.
My character is an Eladrin War Wizard named Kal. Stat rolled was
14x3, 17x2 and 18.

Looks interesting, and if you're already familiar with it, then
that's a plus. Ah, so much for getting around installing Java,
but for a D&D campaign I'd gladly make an exception.
Character-in-the-Making is Chaya the Incandescent, female
Dragonborn, and newly-called Paladin of Avandra. Stat rolls were
18, 18, 17, 14, 12, 10. Modified by the racial bonus (*) her
starting attributes read: Str 20*, Cha 19*, Wis 18, Con 14, Dex
12, Int 10. I'm about halfway through her character sheet (using
the fillable one likned in post #1) with some first ideas about
personality/background but it'll take a bit longer to get her
ready. I'll attach a pdf of my character to a later post.
So no rush from my side, Gingkage. Take what time you need for
NaNoWriMo, (re)reading the D&D books, and most importantly RL.
We're eager to play, but good things are worth waiting for.
Gaming should be fun, not pressure. :)

Meant to say this earlier and forgot. Level 1 characters are not
technically supposed to have magic items. But I will let y'all
have either a magic weapon or magic armor (as far as your
hitting abilities and AC goes, the magic equipment won't make a
huge difference, but magic items do have other things like
dailies that can be activated should you choose to. So y'all can
have either a magic weapon or magic armor, but not both.

[font=georgia][color=#5694EB]A humble inquiry—
Might you guys still accepting applicants, perchance? If the
joining period has passed, I'll understand and bow out to keep
from muddling the proceedings. This looks like an epic story to
watch, at the very least! ^ _^

No date limit exists as far as I know. *grins* You are free to
join if you so like.
Also, we start with a magic item? Oh nelly... Never had that
before. Is there particular limit to which magical item or is it
pretty much any stated in the manual? Sorry, I am not
knowledgeable on the matter here.

*drags Aura to an empty spot* Much as I should be saying 'no
more than *insert number of people* allowed' since I'm not an
experience DM, the more the merrier. Since, you know, I'm crazy
so I'm gonna run with it.

Elryn has pretty much said and asked what I planned on
asking/saying.
My character is a Dragonborn Inspiring Warlord, named Frost(for
now maybe). Though for those of us with a Dragonborn character
and planning on using the Dragon Breath power should we state
the element here?

Since you weren't in chat last night, Aura, I'll state it here.
All I really need to know is what class you're bringing to the
table. But if you want to include your character's name, race,
and an incredibly detailed background, feel free to.
I'm not sure when the books will be read, though. I have to
unbury them from the box their in (I know which box it is, but
that box is buried atm, while not writing my NaNo *insert
shameless plug-in for said NaNo here*, but the books will be
read. Or at least thoroughly skimmed.

Slight add-on to this. While you may have a magic item, it
cannot exceed level 2.
Death, for your breath weapon, what you would do is, if you were
using Ice breath, you would say 'I do X amount of Cold damage'
when you hit. And if the monster is vulnerable to cold, I would
add on a little bit more damage. If you want to say what element
you're using to not have overlap, though, that's fine.
