My favorite word would have to be "whimsy." :D
My least favorite word is "monkey." For reasons that are easy to
       understand.
TPBM: Not sure if this has already been asked. Which Hogwarts
       house would you be in: Gryffindor, which treasures courage;
Ravenclaw, which values knowledge; Slytherin, which prizes
ambition; or Hufflepuff, which prizes perseverance and loyalty?
When I took the House quiz J.K. Rowling had made on a website
called Pottermore, I was put into Ravenclaw. I feel as though I
treasure a sort of knowledge that people talk less and less
about in the open and confront more and more in their everyday
lives: the sort which allows you to answer questions that may
       not necessarily have straightforward answers.
Questions like, "What is more valuable to protect: the sanctity
of life or personal freedom?" or "What are the differences
between business and theft?" are ones in particular that I am
interested in. Ones that offer a sort of personal truth that
displays who you are in addition to addressing the topic at
hand. That might be why I was placed into Ravenclaw instead of a
house like Hufflepuff or Gryffindor (Though I do not feel
particularly brave at times), or even Slytherin- since I
occasionally catch myself on the wrong side of ambition.

I'd rather be in Hufflepuff. Much as knowledge is important, and
as much as I was that one weird kid who actually liked going to
school, out of all the traits listed, loyalty is the one regard
       as the highest.
TPBM: For the writers in the group, do you prefer writing
       original fiction, or fan fiction?
While fanfics are what I find the easiest to write due to
already having an established world to play in, and therefore
are what I've written the most, I do prefer original fiction.
Though that could be because I still have the very, very, very
tiny miniscule dream of one day getting published and I can't do
       that with fan fiction.

[font=georgia][color=#5694eb]I think I'm of a mind to say that I
prefer a blend of the two, because there's so much sharing of
ideas throughout the realm of fiction (especially my favorite,
fantasy!) that it's incredibly difficult to come up with an
entirely never-before-seen category for fiction. I love hinting
at other stories and characters within my own world, rather than
outright inclusion, in hopes of giving readers "Wait, is
       that-?.." moments. ^ _^
TPBM: What was the first story you read or watched that truly
impacted you, whether emotionally or just in a mind-blowing /
       thought-provoking way?

1984, by George Orwell. For obvious reasons.
TPBM: As a gift, you get ONE object, the one you choose (but
only one!). What would it be?

Faerdin and I to span any distance apart, limitlessly summonable

TPBM: What is the accomplishment / achievement in your life that
you are most proud of thus far?

Winning NaNoWriMo. The story still isn't finished, and it's
nowhere near what I'd call 'quality' but knowing that I can
write 50k words in a month, which I hadn't actually thought that
I personally could do, was a confidence booster.
TPBM: If you could redo one point in your life, what would it be
and what, if anything, would you change?
I'd actually go back to high school. I'd take more AP courses
and participate in indoor colorguard all four years.

I would go back to my High School Senior Drum Major tryouts. I
would like to go back, while not being sick with the flu, and
       actually gain that position.
TPBM: If you could learn to fluently speak any dead language,
which one would you learn, and why?
I would like to learn Latin. It has the most effect in the
scientific field, and it would allow me to accuratly pronounce
all of the names, as well as correct the, most likely, mis-named
       species.

Ancient Greek. Because Latin is too obvious and when people go
'It's all Greek to me' I can answer in Greek, and then confuse
       them even further.
TPBM: What is a goal you would like to achieve someday?
Being a published author. Even if it's just one book, I'd like
       to be published one day.

Not sure if this counts as a goal, but I want to be able to
travel across the entire world and see all the natural/man-made
wonders that you read about in class, as well as the different
       cultures.
TPBM: Let's go with something simple, after all the deep
thinking questions :P Favorite flavor of gum?
Mine's actually peppermint, but anything BUT cinnamon is alright

[color=teal]I actually has this lemon and strawberry flavored
one once, and it was really good. I don't normally get to chew
       gum with my braces.
TPBM: What was your favorite time period to study in your
       history class?
While i liked the medieval period, i would have to say my
favorite period was the Renaissance. I like the art, but what
really gets me is the fact that science is actually being
       explored during this period.
