       Ideas for Voice Chat

       So on Discord, our Voice Chat is hardly used. I'd like to change
       that a bit, and so I've come up with some ideas (and borrowed an
       old one).
       1. Weekly BoH News: Have people submit stories to someone we
       appoint as news reporter. They can be anything from real-life
       stories (like Katydid with the wildfire) to new video game
       releases we're looking forward to, to a new book review each
       month. Then every week they compile the submissions, add a
       little on their own, and start dishing it out to the masses. I'd
       be willing to do this if no one else wants to.
       2. Weekly Game Night: If we can find an online/coop game enough
       of us want to play, we can set a date for it and use voice chat
       to communicate as we play. Right now, you could use it to
       encourage each other as you war without having to split screens!
       3. Open Mic Night: Just basically an open floor for people to
       voice concerns, give ideas, or whatever in a slightly less
       formal setting. Borrowed from Aura's idea. It could cut down on
       the amount of people who want to talk on open floor in the
       meetings, if they can get heard on a more regular basis.
       Everybody who wants to gets to give their State of the BoH
       speech. A time when anyone can say anything they want, as long
       as it's chat appropriate. xP
       4. Any other monthly gatherings/events (like if the book club
       was a thing again) they could also meet on voice chat to keep it
       out of main if there are others around who don't want to
       participate.

       I think this is a cool idea! While I don't have any further
       suggestions beyond what Emp has already posted, I'm mainly
       curious on how often/when these would be.
       Is this something where you'd pick a day (say, Friday) and then
       once a week rotate through the different options? Or would the
       time/day change each week depending on who was in charge of the
       specific session?

       It can be whatever way people want it. We can have multiple
       weekly things going on or multiple monthly things staggered over
       each week, or whatever. I'm cool with what people want.

       Just a by the way I have accepted my destiny as the reporter, so
       PM me with any stories. (If we're running low I'll do what I'm
       good at and make up silly things).
