Guide to Character Submissions

This guide should give you a rough idea about what to include in
your character submission. If you're still stuck for ideas, feel
free to browse through approved characters.
» Name: Whether you are roleplaying in the grimdark or general
sections, your character's name shouldn't be something that
wouldn't be found on the show. Your character may be renamed
something more sinister, but their original name should be
included and grimdark names should not be used in general
roleplay.
» Sex: In general roleplay, your character must be male or
female. In grimdark roleplay, asexual, futa, transsexual and
transgendered characters are all allowed.
» Age: Age your character as accurately as you can in human
years. Foals usually acquire their cutie marks when they are
6-10 years old, but some can remain blank flanks for a few years
more.
» Species: In both grimdark and general roleplay, only pegasus,
earth pony and unicorn characters are allowed (unless you are
roleplaying a canon alicorn/draconequus).
» Appearance: Describe your character's appearance in a few
sentences or using an image. Make sure to include their eye
color, mane color, fur color, mane style, eye style,
accessories, etc.
» Personality: As best you can, explain how your character
perceives the world and how they interact with others. Try to
make this at least one paragraph long and as detailed as
possible.
» History: Where was your character born? Did they move? How was
their foalhood? When did they get their cutie mark? Did they get
along with their parents? Give us a good idea about how your
character got to be who he/she is.
» Cutie Mark: Explain what your character's cutie mark looks
like, what it represents, and how the character got it.
» Other: This field is not required, but can be used to add in
extra information such as pets and relationships with other
characters (with permission of other character's owner).
