Blocko Awards 2012 - Epic Fail!
DIR By: MrLOL

Hey guys, (and idoits of the Blocko Awards Team)
I joined the Blocko Awards server and it crashed twice. Then
Bubbler hosted it. It was as laggy as heck. So they moved the
server to Lugnut's. There was hardly no lag, execpt for a little
Client-Sided lag. Bubbler failed at his preformace. (His shitty
stage was no match for the server). And the contestants were
idoits. I never heard of them and they never host. The Admins
abused. And kicked a CONTESTANT for being on stage. I have never
seen such shit. I have no pictures however, 99 people were
there. Ask 1/4 of Blockland how lame it was.

Maybe if you read your news. You wouldn't be posting this.

> The reason that the server was so disorganized and off time
was due to several reasons, one: Blake was having problems with
his internet and couldn't host, so we had to switch servers 3
times, the first two either lagged or didn't have the right
brick add-ons, so we finally got one that was hosted on
Kalphiter's dedicated server and had the right bricks, so that
took about 1 1/2 hours by itself to sort that out. Then, the
event schedule wasn't set high enough so it kept overloading,
that was fixed (sort of), then the interactive content limit
wasn't high enough either, so half my controls were missing. The
effects you saw were only half of what there was supposed to be,
but by then it was so late that we decided to go ahead anyway. I
will freely admit, we were caught with our pants down so to
speak, the fact Blake couldn't host threw everything for a loop.
One good thing is that we got a server on Kalphiter's, without
it everybody would have lagged bad.

> Next year will be better, this was the first time we had
attempted anything like this and the technical difficulties
fouled everything up. If we had not had the problems of finding
a new host and having to fix the limits and stuff once we did
find one, I believe the show would have gone great. I know I
speak for the whole team when I say this, we were just as mad
and frustrated as you were at the way things went, but we did
the best we could under the circumstances.

So. We cannot change our teams Internet speed. If you ask me..
We hit 99 players WITHOUT crashing. We had over 2000 Events
going at once. I'd say we were actually the first to not crash
during a Blocko Awards.
The audience LOVED the music part.
The only parts that were bad:
Nominee announcments
Bubbler's performance.
Personally, I loved Bubbler's performance. From what I saw it
could of easily won in a show.
Next year we're going to work our butts off planning. We'll have
it on a good date and time.
So I'd suggest removing your post.
Edit-
Blake1 is not the person to blame. it's completely obvious. It's
mostly the servers fault.

Honestly, I totally disagree. I could tell how hard the admins
were working and, with the facts:
1. Blake couldn't host. (They had to decide to move on or
postpone)
2. Downloading the correct add-ons.
3. With 99 players (or a high number above 50 players), it can
be frustrating.
4. Once they got the show started, people were complaining. (So
that postponed...)
5. Events, Bricks, etc. failed to load so they had quite some
issues.
Some things that could be changed next year:
1. Better admins.
2. A better track of nominees.
3. If Blake can't host, postpone
4. Keep players away from the stage (others may be recording,
like Nobot)
5. Maybe a better track of all the players. (Yes, I understand
that keeping track of 50+ players can be difficult but I believe
it's possible)
That's all. Anyways, I totally disagree.

I was there. It kinda was like watching a bunch of idoits try to
do some shit. Idk why. Also, I think that I agree with Muddy
here:

Mr. Cool, shut up. You just joined. Learn the way we work like I
did. Also, you weren't there. You always try to agree with the
OP even when you weren't there.

I personally think, the OP was a waste of Mr.LoL's time.
