OpenGles 2.0 glitches fix

I had a little took and i found the info i had lost a while back
to fiix the glitches in the buttons when OpenGless 2 is added
to fix this add

and download the package called
Multitasking Fix for 4.2.1

I just edited the springboard file in the Springboard.app folder
with a hex editor to fix it. Saves me the trouble of adding
another source and another tweak from cydia.

How did you do that? I could maybe do it for the new Bl4ck0ut
release.

First you have to remove that opengles-2 line from the
NXXAP.plist file. Then you have to get a hex editor and Open the
"Springboard" file in the springboard.app folder. Then you
search for "opengles" and you should have 2 total results. Both
of the highlighted results should say opengles2 and a bunch of
other crap.. You have to replace the 2 in both of them with a 1
and then save it. Let me know if the explanation is too
confusing. And if needed I think I could just upload the file
for both the iphone and ipod touch for you to use. (and btw,
this is the same thing that the cydia tweak mentioned above
does, just without have to install a deb.)

Well I tried it and my device didn't boot up anymore. I was
lucky I made a backup... I will try the deb right now...

Well the same thing happens... It doesn't turn on anymore... At
least I know what to do now. Maybe it is because I am faking the
firmware? I'll try again when I take off the fake thing lol.

never happened to me before.. And that might be your problem, I
dunno. Try doing a fresh restore and doing it. Here's the
modified file for the iphone 3g 4.2.1.

Same here , stuck with apple logo, even tried to replace the
files with original versions... still no go, please help :'(

When you put back the backed up springboard file just wait and
let it turn on by itself. I still can't find a way to fix this
so I really don't know... I am just sticking with the lines for
now xD
