Re: iOS6 jailbreak

Okay. Just to clarify everything.. A tethered jailbreak means
that your device will be jailbroken but eveytime you boot it up
you will have to plug it into a computer and boot it tethered or
is it won't be able to boot up all the way and it will be stuck
in a boot loop where you can't do anything. A semitethered
jailbreak means that it is tethered but you will still be able
to boot it up without booting it tethered from a computer. But
booting it normally will have a few consequences.. It will take
longer to boot, you won't be able to use any jailbroken apps or
tweaks you installed including cydia (I will stress ANY TWEAKS)
, you cannot use the native safari or mail app, and there may be
some problems with syncing with itunes, especially if you are a
person who uses cracked apps. (Like I stressed before with the
cydia tweaks since appsync is a cydia tweak too) I hope this
helps people better understand what the difference between a
tethered and a semitethered jailbreak and in my personal opinion
I think semitethered would be better because I think it's better
to normally boot with restrictions than to not be able to
normally boot at all. :)
Oh, and btw. That's with the semitethered jailbreak tweak from
the repo:
HTML http://thebigboss.org/semitether
From what I have seen it looks like it works with iOS 6 but feel
free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Edit: I think the use of safari might have been fixed but I'm
not sure about the mail app.

what are you worried about? there is a new update anyway
6.0.1... so you will have to rejailbreak and there is a tethered
one out as of 2 days after 6.0.1 was released...

I'm sorry because it might just be because I don't understand
what you're saying, but are you talking about the whole
semitethered and tethered thing or just the ios 6 jailbreak
itself?

Yeah, you're gonna have to wait then cause even if you save your
blobs you won't be able to downgrade your 4S either..

Not sure, but once you're at ios 6 you're stuck there. The only
exception is if you have an iPad 2 and you have blobs for ios
4.X and 5.X then you can downgrade to either firmwares. That
goes for all A5+ devices.
