should I buy this

hey guys I've been looking on the internet for a new pc or
laptop and I found someone who is selling his power mac g5 for
150€ so I am not sure if would buy it.
What do you guys think and if I buy it I can help in the
developpement of bl4ck0ut :p.
specs:
-2ghz(2x)
-512MB DDR (I can expand this)
-160 GB hard drive
-mac os x 10.5.8

DON'T GET A MAC!!! It is too expensive and you can easily just
run a virtual machine for OS X. I suggest getting a powerful
desktop or maybe even build one yourself. I have built many and
each one I built it was a learning experience. It is also a lot
of fun. Trust me you will love what you build a thousand times
more than one that you will buy.

Eh, the macs aren't that bad, I mean it's still a computer. But
you might have some compatibility issues if you're not on Mac OS
X 10.6 or higher. And sometimes if you're PC isn't powerful
enough it won't be able to run a virtual machine. It's all based
on you personal preference so if I were him I'd look into the
differences between a Mac and a PC before he buys anything.

That's why if you build a PC, you will pay about the same as for
a cheap mac and you will customize it to whatever you like. I
have a custom built PC that's about 7 years old and another PC
that is only 3 but I prefer my custom PC because of it's
significance. You will love your computer a lot more if you
build it yourself and I promise you that.

yeah I know but the price of it isn't very high it's just 150€
and it works just fine and my pc doesn't support virtualization
technlogy it is too old

That is why you build your own lol. Tell your parents it is a
learning experience and that you don't need the latest parts,
just a decent processor and a decent amount of RAM. (2.8 GHz
Processor and 4 GB RAM is the best option in my opinion.)
