which laptop

hey guys I am going to buy a pc for my birthday (19 november)
and I am looking fo a laptop but the problem is that it connot
cost to much so like 400 € and I found these ones and cannot
choose I want them for use at home and bring at school if I need
it and just for entertainement:
HP dm1-4200sb (399€) TOSCHIBA C850D-104(399€) or the ACER Aspire
X1430-003
what is the best option?

Would be useful if you provided links to each of them :) I'm
also lookin for a laptop to replace my vista low spec comp for
400 would be interested to see what you chose and maybe if I
like it il get it too :)

To be honest I don't think it is worth it to buy a laptop. They
are expensive and the only thing is that it is portable. I mean
the laptop I have is a Netbook!! I don't even use it. The best
thing in my opinion would be to build your own desktop. It is a
lot of fun and it is a great learning experience. The only thing
is that it might be a bit costly. Just tell your parents it is
educational xD (I mean my dad was convinced!!)

Yeah I'm from the uk and if it was me I would go for the second
one buut if you don't need slightly powerful specs and much
prefer portability an lightness I would go for the netbooks much
more easier to vein to school.

Well he did mention he needed to take it to school so a desktop
is a nono but yeah I agree Desktop's are more powerful and
cheaper but I already got a desktop one so would be stupid if I
got another desktop lol I would go for 1 desktop and 1 laptop

Makes sense. I would suggest going with something cheap that has
the highest specs. Usually Toshiba Satellites are the laptops I
would go with.

Heh just upgraded the graphics card on my desktop ;D yeah I'm
gonna stick to this desktop and continue upgrading it and use I
as a gaming machine and anything powerful related and serious
stuff etc, next step Get Windows 7!!!..for free...lol dunno how
to do that gonna have to do slot of research :/ and that maybe a
processor...which I think my budge would handle yet :/

I think I will go for the toshiba because it has more
memory,larger screen , dvd-rw and a full keyboard but the design
is better on the hp and it weights more than the hp so I will
see when I go to the store

Serious??! I would really really appreciate that alot bro!!! Is
it the full version for free as in no expiry date or anything
