did anyone notice that u cant restore to custome firmware on
itunes 7 for some reason, i used ireb 4 and 5 and on itunes 7 it
keeps given me a error 3194

I'm still on iTunes 6 so I don't know. I DEFINITELY don't
recommend going to iTunes 7 cause of the new devices which are
losing support of the old ones. I mean Xcode doesn't even
support arm6 anymore.

Yeah I noticed this. Just install iTunes 6 from filehippo.com.

Aimout I tryed and then it says iTunes is running on a new
version or something and it won't let me open iTunes 6 can u
please put up a tutorial on YouTube on how to do it

yeah you have to start from scrach and uninstall itunes then..
go to the drive that itunes was installed on and search for
itunes and manyaly delete everything from that. thats what i had
to do.. and its a b***h. cuss somefiles are protected

Hello, I got the same error when i tried to update my iPad (3rd
gen) to iOS 6.
Try to remove the string added by tinyumbrella in hosts file,
disconnect the iphone, close and open again itunes. By doing
these things I got another error (-1) but finally worked...
Maybe it could be an iTunes 10.7 issue...
