       Yeah, It's illegal, but whited00r is illegal too ;)
       Redd00r is not illegal, cause they use a .deb file to speed up
       stock 4.2.1

       so using a .deb file to do it isnt illegal and jailbreaking isnt
       illegal
       but can you get the f.deb file onto the ipsw with out needing to
       jailbreak it first?

       To install a .deb file you need root access which can be
       obtained through jailbreaking. Jailbreaking is not illegal but
       making a custom .ipsw is illegal.

       Actually it is illegal because it is kind of copyrighting Apple.
       It is making a new version of their firmware (.ipsw) which is
       illegal.
