Windows Phone 8

So now WP8 is already out and the Lumia 920, 820, HTC 8X, 8S are
about to come into the market. What do you guys think about
them? I am really thinking of buying one because I am getting a
new phone soon. I could've gotten the Galaxy S3 but decided to
wait and maybe consider the Lumia 920 or the HTC 8X/S. Should I
get it? Is it worth it? The thing is I know a bit about C++ and
C# which is what the apps will use. There is a demand of
developers for Windows at the moment and I want to maybe go for
it. What do you guys think?

I love Windows because of PC's, but on phones, iPhone definitely
:P

Have you tried it? I haven't but by the look of it, I love it.
To be honest offline maps puts it over the top for me. For the
Nokia Lumia 920, wireless charging, 8.7 MP camera, and more. I
really love that about it.

Well I already tried Android and I hate it to be honest, iOS is
prettier and simpler :P, about the Windows Phone, it seems to
basic, but I didn't saw WP8 yet, I will check it out, but, I
will surely rather an iPhone 5 :P

android devices offer so much more power, and the open source
let you do what you want, it has flash player, better battery,
and better memory management. i have the galaxy ace and it is
faster than my ipod 4G, with armv6 processor ! i recomend
android :)

android is more customizible and more for developpers
windows is easy to use and has no bugs

Yeah exactly. I have tried iOS and Android and I want to try
this. It looks nice and I really just want to try it and maybe
even develop for it.

you're right, but what i really dislike about apple is the way
they updates, after 2 years you are stuck with a version too big
for the device, you get lower battery,performances become ugly,
and what we can do? remove daemons and unused retina images..
that's not so much.. and now android,for exemple ill take
cynanogenmod, its blazing fast, and bring latest android to
pretty much any device (i was running android 4.0.4 on a device
stuck with 2.1) and it was fast with 228 mb of ram, opensource
make all difference (i think), oh and ios eat up to like 2gb of
flash memory, android is a couple mb..and its not so
expensive(compared to iphone,phone is 800$, or 100$ with a 70$ 3
years contract), thats why i recommend Android, and for windows
phone i never tryed it

And that is exactly why I want to try it. To test it. I know the
pros and cons of both iOS and Android but now I want a user
insight of WP8 and that will help me pick my next phone in the
future. Android is a great OS, but it doesn't stick for me. It
was cool at first but then I got used to it.... I know there is
a lot out there but for me, Android is mehh. iOS is getting to
that mehh level as well. There is still hope in Windows xD
