Yea even with most wallpaper gradients, shadows etc deleted its
still slow, specially intransitions and animations. There must
be a way to speed it up and we will find it :D

reduce the size of wallpaper and with a optimized wallpaper
working with substrate, but you are right there is a way,
darlo770 know it he made ios 3 wallpapers with shadows and
everythings with no effect on performances, even if 3.1.3 is
faster than 4.2.1, wallpaper would impact even on ios 3..

ok so i found the way of a fast native wallpaper that follow in
folders.. i look inside of darlo770's deb and found that he is
using substrate, no need to respring when changing! we need
someone to port those substrate to 4.2.1
and we will have a native-like wallpaper blazing fast!

I suck at working with substrates so I can't do this but I can

Does this only happen to my device? It is stuck on the Apple
logo when I change the OpenGLES 2 to 1 using the Hex editor. I
have waited 20 minutes and nothing... I can change back cause I
made a backup but still...
