just wanna say hi

I just wanted to say hi and give an introduction. My names Tim
im prolly a little older than most people here lol but I am an
Android guy. Been messing with and rom building Android software
for a few years now. Earlier this year I figured I would see
what IOS is all about so got an iPhone 3g for almost free (cost
me 20 bucks and "unbricking" a friends droid. So naturally I
started looking to see what I can do with it because stock 4.2.1
is pretty ho hum and laggy. Naturally the first thing I came
across was Whited00r. well that looked promising. So figured out
haw to put the device in dfu mode download firmwares shift
restore all of that and i will admit whited00r works nice. Yes
it is mainly because it is 3.1.3 but for what it is it worked
amazing. So then I decided to start reading there forums ,always
lurking never actually joining or commenting, and I must say,
and this is not a whited00r bashing threat at all just an
observation, the way they treat there "community" is repulsive.
Any newbie question they dont like the person is labeled an
idiot, any misspelled words by someone who doesnt speak english
as a first language is labeled a moron. Never really answering
questions just bashing and saying itll be done when its done!!
instead of sayin hey its takin a little longer than expected
please just bear with us. Then they expect donations? I mean
seriously. Now dont get me wrong there are a few who do take tie
and who I always saw being respectful. brian is one and even
super_hussian who i see is here was always polite and helpful
there. But 99% of them were for the lack of a better word
pompous jerks. So i never did join never did donate and refused
to use there firmware. Then after some googling and some you
tube searching I found bl4ck0ut. What a breath of fresh air and
the firmware is amazing. So in closing I wanna say keep up the
great work and im glad you guys get it. its the community that
makes things great not only the developers and admins. Thanks
guys.

YEA i joind whited00r for i think not even a week then i dicided
to be a smart ass to one of the moderators and put Sh*t in their
face for what they said even though the rules said they could
swear and that stuff so i made a new thread and banned them out
and got banded but all you have to do is delete your internet
cookies and you can go on again:D
i havnt been on there in a bit it got slow and stuff so i stoped
visiting.

WOW. I felt great reading this xD
I completely agree with you and that is why I started to drift
away from Whited00r and adapt to Bl4ck0ut. Brian was by far the
most respectable person on Whited00r and that is pretty much the
only reason I stayed there so long. He was amazing and I only
posted on his threads xD
Glad you like it here and if you feel like there is anything we
could do to improve please share with us because after being on
other forums, I feel like the user is always right (in a lot of
things other than forums too). Great to see an older person xD

Welcomeˇ (you and every new member haha) I just wanted to say
that most of the people here have had the same problem with
whited00r, there you can´t do what you want. This is the reason
why bl4ck0ut was created, becasue they removed and locked all my
topics because people said that it was a great fw. So we decided
to make this project.
Now you know the history of black0ut hahaha
I forgot to say that at the beginning it was S3nsati0n Project
:P but I think Bl4ck0ut is much better. Isn´t it?

So freakin true absoloutely hate the mods and the wannabe
badmans behind their freakin screen tryna act smart and be total
d*cks and all....sigh...yah brian and Dyzee are alright exclude
them and they're all jerks..the amount of times i help people
and gets deleted is unbelieable lol..hmm maybe that's their rule
when they first sign up to be a mod, treat people like dirt and
show your hierachy above them..

xD Funny, funny, but we shouldn't do that. This forum is not to
put down Whited00r, it is to show our own project. I know some
people at Whited00r and I would not like them to say what we are
saying about them. Just please try not to put down Whited00r
anymore.

oka ycan i have a go and soooo i agree with all the stuff said
about whited00r but dyzee was the one who clocked my account:P
and im still blocked
so i found bl4ck0ut and love it more than redd00r cuss it is way
faster in every way. and kikokoko95 and many other have done a
great job at this.
