Best Internet speeds for Mag and how to check them

Hi,
Can anyone kindly help by telling me what is considered the
optimum Internet speed for a Mag and how to run a check on this?
I'm supposed to have 50mb broadband but somehow, I think I'm
being swindled......

I've got 38mb and it's fine.
If anything like the NowTV box anything above 8mb is fine I
think

Just done a test and it's showing below results which look good
to me:
57.09mb download speed
3.18mb upload speed
76ms ping time

Is that ethernet or wireless? I have done speed test on Mag on
ethernet and got 51 meg
Using wireless I got 18
And the Mag was 2 inches from the router. Wireless speed test on
phone is 60+ in same physical position

that ping is really high switch ur router off for 10 min reboot
it and check ur results again bud

Cheers Rocky, what's the best Internet speed checker to use mate
and what's a good ping return? Also, should I use the website
browser on my Mag Box as I did it independently from my phone
plugging in my post code and provider details. Cheers all.

Oakalla speed test from playstore is what I use bud and ping
I've between 5 and 30 really is good enough

Ok, thanks mate, I've downloaded the app from Google and will
run it when I get in this afternoon. Hopefully the ping has
dropped. If not, I'll follow your directions. Of it doesn't
improve, what are my options? Appreciate your help. Thanks very
