       Biblos New Format

       Good day students. I would like to remind you that the goal of
       Biblos Theological Institute is to give you quality seminary
       education to help you excel in biblical and theological
       knowledge. So I encourage you to get the most out of this
       training by giving quality time to it. Since many of you are not
       performing well in the exams and seem unprepared for the monthly
       lecture by not having studied the materials completely or
       thoroughly, I have decided to make this training fully at your
       own pace. It means we could no longer meet as a group since
       everybody will be learning at different pace. In lieu of the
       monthly class, we will use this message board for discussion and
       follow-up. If you have any questions or clarifications
       concerning the lessons, just post them here. I will share some
       notes to supplement your learning, so if possible visit this
       page at least twice a month. I hope that this new format will
       give you flexibility to your study time.
       Also, I have added the following requirements: in order to
       graduate you must have a final average of at least 80 (B-) and
       must pass the comprehensive exam (with a grade of not less than
       75) to be given before the graduation. If a student has
       completed all the assignments and exams but hasn't reached the
       final average of 80 or failed to pass the comprehensive exam, he
       will only get a certificate of accomplishment, not a bachelor's
       degree. He will be recognized during graduation but he can't
       join the graduates.
       I will create a page in the Biblos website
       (biblosonline.webs.com) where you can check your grades and get
       the results of your assignments and exams. If you did not do
       well in your previous monthly exams, I can give you a remedial
       exam to improve your grade. Just let me know.
       All the video and reading materials for each module will be
       available online (I'm working round the clock to accomplish
       this). But you can still get the materials in DVD if you want.
       If you have questions about this change, please let me know.
       I pray that you would not give up in pursing this study for we
       need a new generation of Christian leaders who are well-equipped
       and well-prepared to take on the challenges in today's culture.
