For fear of being left by the group, jasper flew as fast as
possible to his hometown to report. With everyones blessing he
flew back. "I need....a break" he says, panting heavily. He
looks down on the square looking for a place to land. Thats when
he notices zion and John . He shifts to the size of a golfball
and softly lands on johns shoulder, hoping to go
unnoticed.......by john anyway, seeing as zion was directly in
front of john there was no real hiding from him.
"What cha eaten there? Looks might good........turkey on wheat?"
the dragon squeaked in johns ear.

John shouted in fright at the unknown voice causing him to toss
his sandwich away as he jumped out of his seat. His eyes caught
sight of Jasper sitting on his shoulder and he hurriedly swatted
him away "Is today just my bad luck or did I do something to
upset the fates!" he whined, glaring down at his sandwich.

"Nah, maybe you're just lucky." Zion plucks Jasper off of John's
shoulder and looks down at him with a big smile. "Now you know
what they said about wondering off little guy. No worries, you
can always stick with Zeezee." Zion then places the small form
of Jasper in a shirt pocket.
"Sorry about the sandwich. I can get you a new one." Zion's tone
turned a bit more serious again. "Now, as we were saying...."
Zion looked down at the shirt where Jasper was for the moment
and decided to modify the conversation.
"I wonder what Queen will do now. You think they'll kick her out
of the castle?" Zion asked with concern.

Jasper peaks out the pocket as they went back to talking.
Conversations not being his "forte" he looks around. Noticing
the dropped sandwich he licks his jowls in hunger.

Still shooting glares at Jasper he shook his head and sat back
down with a huff. "Nah she's still a priestess of the capital,
so they'll probably let her stay. Besides it'd be cruel to kick
her out jsut because she isn't gonna go off on the grand
adventure we all thought she'd have."

"true, but I've heard some kingdoms would do just that." Zion
stated. Zion thought about how to get the convo back where it
should've been but knew it was pretty much a lost cause now.
Zion stood "Well sorry about the sandwhich. Sure you don't want
me to get you a new one?" Zion patted Jasper's head. "Looks like
this little guy sure wants one."

John looked thoughtful "Yeah I could picture the southern
capital kicking her out, good thing the northern one is kind."
he said before standing up, with one more glance to his sandwich
he shook his head. "its okay its best I head home anyways. I've
got plenty of stuff to do tomorrow. You better head off too,
Dawn Rift is troublesome during the day and becomes even more so
at night."

"I suppose you're right." Zion turned to go and looked down at
Jasper.
"You know your way home little guy?" Zion thought and pulled him
out of the small pocket. "Let's get you a snack first, then
we'll get you home. How's that sound?" Zion looked at the small
version of Jasper in the palm of Zion's hand.

"See ya around later." John said, with a parting wave he took
his leave, maybe he'd do some wandering sometime tonight. He had
a lot on his mind and the night air always helped.

jaspers stomach growls lightly as zion brought up food. "Ive
flown home already. I hurriedly flew back so you guys wouldnt
leave me"
