"uuuuu... I'm soorrryy!!" Zion shouted lunging for Jasper to hug
him, then Zion's forehead started to sting, quite painfully.
"Owww... okay be right back, bathroom break!"
Zion ran out of the room, hoping there was a bathroom nearby.
Lucily, one was spotted down the hall. Well it was assumed to be
one anyway.
Zion ran in and shut the door. Turning on the water, Zion
grabbed a towel and wiped the newly splashed water from a now
burning forehead. Zion looked down at the water to continue
washing, then back up at the mirror. And BAM, there it was,
bright as a glaring white piece of anwen, the guardian mark,
right smack dab in the middle of the forehead. The singing now
went away.
"Zion stared at it for a second. "Wel that's going to be kind of
a setback." Zion looked around for something to cover it with
and grabbed the towel. Wrapping it around the insides of the
shoulder length hair, Zion's mark was now safely hidden...
Nevermind the bright green towel that now coverd the forehead.
A minute later. Zion walked back out to the others, casually
whistling.
"Hey guys, h'ow's it goin'? Ya know, this place has the NICEST
bathrooms? You just HAVE to check them out sometime!" :D

As they entered the living room she looked around with interest
finding it just as comforting as the girl who lived there. she
decided to take a seat on the floor next to Jasper as he turned
into his dragon form. Lita noticed the odd marking on his scales
and lightly traced it with her finger, a feeling of safety
rushed through her making her frown and pull her hand back.
"Kira has the same marking and so does Jasper...so they are my
Guardians." she thought.
She looked up and her contemplative expression changed to
curious confusion when she saw the towel wrapped around Zions
head. "Should I even ask why you've got that on?" she said,
raising an eyebrow.

A low rumble of enjoyment comes from the green dragon as lita
traced the mark. He curls his tail over her as she talks to
zion. He was too comfortable to even look and see what new
apparel he was wearing.

"What, this?" Zion patted the towel gently and it slipped a bit,
revealing a TINY bit of a mark that COULD be important.
"Oh, just a fashion statement. Zion whistled casually and sat
back on the couch.
"Wow, making tea must be serious business huh?"

Lita looked at him suspiciously "Right I did not know towels as
headgear were making such a fashionable come back." she teased.
She wondered what the other was hiding and could barely make out
something peeking from beneath the edge of it but knew she was
keeping her own secrets so better to respect the secrets of
others.

Kira returned a few minutes later with a tray of tea and sweets.
Seeing the state of Zion she rolled her eyes and shook her
head. Grabbing a bundle akin to a sports wrap from a nearby
drawer she tossed it to him. "If you've done something to your
head, please refrain from using my mother's good towels. Give
that a try instead."
Catching a quick glance of the marking on Jasper, her suspicions
were becoming stronger. She sat on her knees and folded her
hands in her lap, a very proper stance. She looked right at
Lita. "Let me tell you a little about myself, since we are in a
safe place where we may speak openly. I have lived here my
whole life, trained by my father and taught by my mother. I was
born with a very distinct birthmark." Her eyes darted to
Jasper's marking. "So my path in life has always been clear.
As long as I've lived, I have known that one day I would be one
to walk with the protector as their guardian. Its not a path I
take lightly, and when you are born with the mark it becomes a
part of your very being. Granted it can get me into trouble in
this town due to my upbringing. Some know, others don't, most
steer clear of me. However after a few days ago, the path I
assumed i would walk clearly became a bit hazier. A life long
guardian without a protector to protect is a bit at a loss."
She wasn't looking for anyone to necessarily follow her in their
story, but she needed Lita to hear her words. She could do with
them what she pleased.

Zion caught the cloth. "Thanks... sorry about that."
"I'll be right back." Zion walked to the bathroom and removed
the towel. After inspecting it, Zion placed it in what was
assumed to be the dirty clothes hamper. Zion faced the mirror
with the new cloth clutched in tight hands. The mirror told the
truth of what Zion was to do. Eyes narrowing, Zion made a face
back at the reflection, the mark staring right back.
After a moment, Zion returned with the new wrap. "Hey this is
pretty comfy. Thanks um.... I'm sorry, I don't really do too
well with names. Ahahah." Zion laughed nervously.

Jasper listens in silence. He remembers one of the old women
from the village saying that the mark he bared was evidence that
he had a purpose and that he would know when that purpose came
around. Was this it?

Lita listened silently and nodded, from her spot on the floor
she leaned back against the couch. "It must have been a shock
when Mimiru Queen didn't end up becoming the
Protector...something she spent her whole life training for."
sighing softly she poured herself a cup of tea and absently draw
her finger around the rim. "And without knowing the who actual
Protector is people might start to panic. But it must be hard
for her...or him to suddenly be handed a responsibility they
aren't prepared for."
