As soon as the handshake happened the faintest inklings of a
sensation came over her. Shaking her head lightly, sure
everything was fine she gave Lita a smile. "It's nice to meet
you Lita."
Seeing that Lita seemed to know the yelling fool Kira raised an
eyebrow. "Him? A friend of yours?". She asked curiously. She
began to lead the two through the streets towards the commotion.
Her movement were fluid, and held purpose. She instinctively
moved akin to a shield for Lita against known unsavory
characters. Kira herself likely didn't recognize her distinct
movement patterns.
As they drew towards the source of the commotion Kira rubbed
her temples. Knowing the area and its inhabitants, she sighed
seeing the bunch this boy had gotten wrapped up with. "Playing
the helpful bunch isn't really that convincing you know." She
threw to the bunch.

Lita shook her head "Not a friend, just someone that lives in
the same town...he's sorta known for these types of commotions."
she explained while following her. She watched as the other
moved, amazed at the graceful and sure movements, so unlike her
own uneasy and cautious ones. As they reached the group she
stayed behind Kira, knowing she was better equipped to handle
this. She did take her hood off and peek around her to look at
Jasper.

"Ah and here's one of the ones you gotta watch out for." he
said, glaring at Kira. "Always showing up and sticking her nose
in business that doesn't concern her." he added. One of the
others in the group stepped forward "Look like she's got a
little friend this time. Hows about you two go play dress up or
something. We've got this one handled." the others nodded in
agreement.
As the two groups spoke a small crowd began to gather off to the
side, interested to see what would happen and also hoping to get
a chance to steal the boys bag of jewels.

" So she's a mugger?" Jasper tilts his head in confusion. "She
doesn't look like a mugger.....then again. I don't really know
what a mugger is." he says with a goofy smile "but if you guys
say she's one...." Jasper steps forward to do what Old man
Crawley told him to do to muggers. A green glow forms around
Jasper and emerald scales slowly began to creep down his arms
and up his neck. A low growl rumbled in his throat and his eyes
started to change. thats when he notices Lita. His form quickly
reverts back to normal. "Lita?.......LITA!!" he screams happily
and tackles her and Kira with a hug " If she's with lita then
she can't be a mugger!"

Kira put her hand on her hip as the men around Jasper addressed
her. "And I wouldn't need to stick my nose into your business
if you didn't try to take advantage of everything with a pulse.
Alas that is far from the case with you lot."
She was about to respond to their second comment when the word
mugger came from the clueless boy they were playing. A frown
settled across her features as his aura changed. She moved
herself to shield Lita an placed a hand on the hilt of her
sword.she was ready to defend the other girl at any sign of
trouble.
However Jasper's next movements caught her completely off guard.
As they were talked into a hug she quickly positioned herself
to break the groups fall, more particularly Lita's fall as they
were knocked over. With a curious look Kira looked at the other
girl. "Is he always like this?" She asked shaking her head.

Breath knocked out of her as they fell "Nice to uh...see you
too...Jasper." she got out and once again felt a spark when her
hand brushed his. Only this time she took notice of it, she'd
had psychical contact with him at least once or twice and never
got a reaction like this, unlike with Kira who'd she just met
today. She wondered what was going on but had a feeling it had
something to do with the markings on her hand.
"Very much so." she answered and looked at Jasper "A mugger is
someone who steals things from other people, and no Kira isn't a
mugger." she told him.

The moment she touched Jasper the marking hidden beneath her
bandages glowed faintly as the bond between them was made. As
the new bond formed Jasper might feel protective of Lita, though
with his excitable nature he might not notice.
Seeing Jaspers partial transformation caused them to quickly
step back "The hell was that Sean? Some kinda trick?" one of
them asked. Sean looked at him "Could be." he answered and
watched with shock as he suddenly ran off to hug the two girls.
His shocked expression soon turned to anger as he glared at Kira
"Always interfering and getting in the way. If ya leave now we
might forgive ya. Just hand over those two of course. I'm sure
we can find a slave trader willing to pay a nice sum for them."
he said, not wanting to lose out on any earnings he could get.
Sean took out a dagger and the rest of the group followed suit.
The surrounding audience looked at each other, whispering among
themselves, some wondering what would happen now while others
were starting to leave when it looked like the situation would
turn ugly.

Jasper barely noticed the shock but the urge to be near lita
seemed more defined. Jasper "so that means these guys are
liars.....I don't like liars" he helps them off the ground and
looks back at the group of guys. A low growl rumbles in his
throat as they brandish their daggers. "I won't let you hurt
Lita" he says between gritted fangs. he wasn't one to get angry
so fast, but he just couldn't seem to help it.

As the group before them drew their weapons Kira's expression
fell serious. "I don't think I ever seek forgiveness from you
lot. You can have these two over my dead body. However that
means you'd have to get through me first.".
As Jasper began to growl Kira had pulled her katana from its
sheath. The blade was sleek and polished, clearly well taken
care of. Sapphire orbs fell on the one called Sean with stark
intent if they took a step forwards. The shadows she and the
others cast seemed to dance around Kira's feet as she tightened
her grip. Her position was defensive of Lita. She would wait
for them to make a move in case they would leave them alone, not
that she expected it.

"Guys m-maybe we should just get out of here." Lita said, not
wanting either of them to get caught up in a fight.
