Again, I apologize! I have a tendency to throw down on people.
       :-\
       Sorry!
You're right...I doubt that a draft will be unleashed on the
people of America anytime soon, but if it is, there will
definitely be Church authority guiding the way. :)
And yeah, Chef Paul really knows how to cook! Gotta hand it to
       'im.
Nota Bena for the Chef: C'est tres bon, Monsieur! J'aime votre
pain; il est plus chaud! <3
Best I could think of. :D

I don't want to abuse this topic with french talk, as it is
about just war after all :-X. I'll send you a private message.
       D'accord?

It is my goal to speak fluent French! I'm not nearly that good

But wouldn't the need for a draft make the war a just one?
Consider for the sake of argument, if North Korea launches
missiles at the US and we chose to retaliate, wouldn't the fact
that North Korea fired on the US and (assuming the missiles hit)
destroyed -at the very least- thousands of lives be enough of a
threat to our well being also be enough to make the call to war
and the draft a just one? That may be one instance, but surely
by a Catholic standpoint, the discarding of all those lives
would be enough to make the draft just. Innocent lives and
non-combatants are dying or dead, and why would it be a sin if
we are fighting for the "nations well being" or "greater good"?
If there is a draft, there most likely is a cause for the need
       of a draft correct?
Asking if the revolutionary war was a just war or not wouldn't
change the fact that it did happen, besides, while there is no
one true cause of the revolutionary war, there were reasons why
it had happened, plus, if it did not happen, consider what
religion was King George at that time? If we did not separate
from England, we most likely wouldn't be allowed to be Catholic
because we'd still be in England's control, and from my
recollection, good old King G wasn't too fond of Catholics, and
was pretty, well, crazy. If we didn't separate from the British
Empire, the King would have probably outlawed being certain
       religions too.
       P.S. Je n'ai voir personne a la F.F.F. j'était triste :(.

If attacked, we have a right to self-defense.
If they decided to impose a draft for self-defense, then so be
       it.
"If there is a draft, there most likely is a cause for the need
       of a draft correct?"
Well no, I imagine the draft was necessary during Vietnam
because everybody knew it wasn't our war and no-one wanted to
       fight it voluntarily.
Asking if the revolutionary war was a just war or not wouldn't
change the fact that it did happen, besides, while there is no
one true cause of the revolutionary war, there were reasons why

It wasn't just King George that wasn't too fond of Catholics.
It was the prevailing attitude of the time. Even so, many of
the colonies already had a great deal of religious freedom
before the revolution. You may have heard of the Quebec Acts?

actually, I've never heard of those acts. And with regards to
the prevailing disdain of Catholics, wouldn't it actually make a
lot more people happy if King George outlawed Catholicism?

It WAS outlawed in a lot of places. But in the colonies, I
think "salutary neglect" would be a good description of the
       situation.
Also: Maryland was founded as a haven for Catholics.
