Name: Lilibeth Ambershard. Prefers to be called Lilly, or Li.
Gender: Female.
Age: 20
Bender Type: Earth, with a particular focus in minerals and
gems, like many others of her family.
She also prefers close combat, and is a fearsome martial artist,
rather than a particularly powerful bender, to the point where
she finds it very difficult to successfully bend any stone she
isn't actually touching.
Likes: Martial arts, shenanigans, exploring, escaping her
family's house, making new friends, taking risks, having fun.
Dislikes: Her family and their reputation, being told what to
do, trade and commerce, rules and regulations, oppression, the
Fire Nation.
Appearance: Reasonably pretty, with relatively short, messy dark
hair, and deep green eyes, like the depths of a dark forest. She
is of slightly lower than average height, and, despite a hint of
muscle hiding great strength, of moderately light build as well.
With a little effort, Lilibeth could be considered quite
beautiful. She does, however, utterly refuse to make this
effort, or have it made on her part, and so keeps her dark hair
cut short and perpetually messy, shuns makeup, and wears clothes
that are functional, not fancy. The only piece of ornementation
she wears is a necklace with a rather large green crystal in the
centre, which she uses for her family's specific style of
bending, when no other source of crystal is apparent nearby.
Personality: Cheeky, adventurous and fun, Lilibeth despises both
her family's attempts to keep her under control/marry her off,
and their reputation for shady dealings, and so takes every
opportunity to flee their control and explore, in order to have
fun and make friends.
Bio: Lilibeth is the eldest daughter of a merchant family, the
Ambershards, who are well known for both good and bad reasons.
Good, in that they're one of the most succesful merchant
family's in all of the Earth Kingdom, wealthy, influential and
highly supported. (Even by the Dai-Lee, some say.)
Bad, in that everyone knows that the Ambershard's are closely
tied to, and do dealings with.. less than savoury groups and
organizations.
As the eldest, she's expected to marry off with whoever her
family wants her to, for example, in order to close an important
business deal.
It's safe to say that she's.. less than happy with this, which
has lead to her fleeing home many times, only to inevitably
return, either through being captured, or through running out of
resources and being forced to head home.
While on one expedition, she came across an underground
Earth-Bending Arena, and, fascinated by the fights and the roar
of the crowd, immediately signed up to an Earth-Bending school
in order to learn Proper Earth-Bending, and not just the "Pansy"
Bending used by her privately-tutored family, used more for
finding gem deposits, and such.
After several years of study, Lilibeth has become both a skilled
fighter, and reasonably powerful bender, although some of her
family's preference for Crystals still carries over into her
fighting, to a limited extent.
Relationship Status: Available, with a reasonable amount of
interest in both genders, although a clear preference for women.
