(Earth Arc) Wake up my Queen

Argentine would wake up in the silk sheets of the bed of the
Earth King himself. Scott sat beside her bed tending to her
wounds. He placed a wet cloth on her forehead after the doctor
left patching the rest of her wounds up.

The Earth Bender groaned as she slowly stirred. Her eyes
gradually opened to a squint, her bleary eyes surveryed the room
for a moment, not exactly taking everything in right away. Then
it all hit her, her face felt utterly numb. She couldn't feel a
thing. She reached a hand to her face but winced at the motion,
still, she moved it there regardless. Her jaw wasn't wired shut,
thank goodness for that - at least she can speak.
"Mmmm- what happened?" she murmured, "Where am I?"

Her took her hand in his with a sigh of relief. "Be still my
love you are injured. You are in the royal palace after you
assisted me in battling the terrorist dressed like a bat.It
pains me to see you like this."

'My Love? We barely know each other.' Argentine thought, she
would have raised a quizzical brow if she could. Or maybe she
did, but she didn't feel it.
"He caught me off-guard. I remember that much." she mumbled,
"Although I'm pretty sure that I made it clear that I didn't
want to hurt him... but he ended up hurting me..."

"He will pay for hurting you Lady Argentine. Please forgive my
brash speech. I tend to be forward with my feelings when
emergencies arise. He is a deadly terrorist who harmed an Earth
Kingdom citizen and attempted to blow up himself and 12 of my
men. He will be caught and brought to justice for his crimes."

The young woman was quiet for a moment upon hearing his words,
but she simply nodded in order to be polite. There had to be a
reason why he was there, of course there was no excuse for
beating her senseless when she clearly wasn't a threat, but why
was he there in the first place. She had to find out, and was
determined to get some answers.

Before long after the Earth King had left surely enough Bart
slipped in unnoticed. Sticking to the shadows he avoided any
confrontation with the guards and made it to the master bedroom.
He looked over Jen who was now sleeping and placed his hand over
her mouth so she wouldn't scream. He placed a finger over his
own lips and made a hushing noise. "Look I know you've got no
reason to trust me after I tried to blow us up, but I want you
to hear me out." He said letting his hand free from her mouth.

Jen had her hand over her heart as she breathed quickly and
deeply. She was caught off-guard and was about to bend until she
recognised whom it was standing before her. She frowned a
little, "What is it?" she asked shortly.

"Girls have gone missing around Ba Sing Se lately. I can't be
sure but I've heard it's connected to the King and his agents.
Girls people know have been resurfacing without memory of family
or friends, all calling themselves Joo Dee. So unless you
planned from changing your name from Jen to Joo let's go."
