Corelia thinks for a moment on how best to answer. What was it
about Cat that let him talk so easily? If it was that he was a
boy, that wouldn't help her. Maybe because he did it so often?
A bit late to do that in preparation. Hm...
She takes a deep breath and closes her eyes and immediately
becomes visibly more relaxed. Maybe that's his secret! She
smiles and opens her eyes again, tensing up again quickly before
closing them again to speak. "IlearneditfromCat
he'stheone...who...healed..." she says in a rush, slowing down
after opening her eyes again to look up at Lili, a slight blush
on her cheeks.

Okay, this woman was definitely a little strange, too. Which
only made her all the more interesting in Lilibeth's green eyes.
Lilibeth simply watched Corelia struggle to, and then eventually
speak, with a grin of amazement and clear interest on her face.
After she had finished speaking, Lilibeth opened her mouth to
comment on how utterly and incredibly adorable Corelia was in
every single aspect of her existence, only to bite down on the
comment, deciding that the quiet woman's response would either
be to panic, or to blush so adorably that Lilibeth would be
unable to resist tackling her to the ground and wrapping her in
a crushing embrace.
So, in the interest of avoiding these events, all Lilibeth said,
was:
"Oh, a Cat, huh? What kind? Where is he?" She asked, happily,
looking around for a cat of some kind, must have been a talented
one, too, to have been able to heal her headache.

Corelia relaxes again when Lili's eyes leave her, and she even
lets out a quiet giggle. "No, not a cat...Cat. He's my twin
brother." She gives a point to the other side of the room, then
her eyes widen. "Oh, right." She puts down her soup and
stands, walking over to the sleeping man and easily picking up
him and the blanket in one motion. She then carries him over to
the recently-vacated sleeping mats and lays him down on one. He
rolls over and resettles, mumbling something under his breath
about the bridge being too wide. She takes his hand and
squeezes it affectionately, then stands and returns to the wall
where she left her soup.

Lilibeth's gaze immediately snapped back to Corelia once she had
emitted that tiny little giggle, and the earthbender was unable
to remove the immense smile and faint stare that manifested on
her face at the sound, so pleased was she, to have made this shy
little angel actually Laugh.
She continued this slightly-staring gaze as Corelia left her
spot, watching with an impressed look as she easily hefted and
carried her brother across the room, her expression softened a
little at the little display of affection, and then her smile
widened again as the slightly-younger woman returned to her
spot.
In order to prevent herself from getting lost in Corelia's eyes
again, Lilibeth spoke up somewhat rushed-ly, although her voice
was still friendly and curious.
"So, just you and your brother, live here alone?" She asked,
tilting her head in curiosity, clearly interested in Corelia's
response, although for what reason it was hard to say.

Corelia blushes slightly again at Lili's stare, averting her
face. "I...uh..." she says, her voice the quietest it's been.
She peeks sideways through her curtain of hair and nods instead
to answer.

Oh come on now, this just wasn't fair anymore. Corelia kept
getting cuter and more shy with every passing moment, and
Lilibeth had to keep trying harder and harder to resist the
temptation to tell her exactly how cute she was.
An awkward silence descended over the scene for a few moments,
as Lilibeth thought about what to stay, keeping her eyes on the
near-silent woman the whole time, her expression one of mild
confusion about what to do next, this silence and stillness
rather out of the comfort zone of the normally boisterous
earthbender.
"S-so, how long have ya lived here, in Ba-Sing-Se?" She spoke
up, rather abruptly, her smile returning as she did so, hoping
that this would be able to coax an actual conversation out of
Corelia.

Corelia takes the opportunity provided by the silence (which she
doesn't really see as awkward) to take a few more bites of her
soup, finishing up the solids and leaving just the broth. Then
she puts her fork down and tips her head back to drink the soup
broth, unshadowing her face for a moment.
At the question, she puts her hand to her mouth again and thinks
for a bit. "5 months," she mumbles. Then, seeing that more
might be expected of her, she continues. "2 weeks. 4 days.
Um..." Her eyes turn to the door in an attempt to check the
light through the gaps. "...5 hours...or so..." She trails
off.

The sweetness and earnest innocence of Corelia's response was
enough to draw a faint giggle from Lilibeth, her smile widening
slightly as she did so.
"Well, you guys enjoying your time in the city so far? What's it
like living down here, Corelia?" Lili asked, growing slightly
more comfortable with Corelia's shyness, as she moved a little
closer, deciding to lean her back against the same wall as the
other woman was standing, to give her legs a break, and get a
slightly closer look at her rescuer.

Corelia licks her bowl clean, then stands and puts it over by
the water pump for later cleaning.
"It's...um...okay." She retrieves the bucket
from next to the fire and brings it to the pump as well, filling
it with water and bringing it next to the fireplace where she
removes the still-boiling soup from the fire before dousing it
with the bucket. The rest of the soup she brings over to
Catalin's side, along with the bowl and fork Lili had used for
her soup. Her work done, she returns to her spot again and sits
once more, brushing her hair back from her face.

Once again, awkward silence reigned over the scene as Lilibeth
tried to figure out what to say, in the meantime simply watching
Corelia silently, glad that her closer proximity allowed her a
clearer look.
"So.." She said, after a moment, sidling slightly closer as she
did so, hoping that this sudden outburst would somehow encourage
one of them to start an actual conversation.
"You.. a bender, Corelia?" Lilibeth asked, after a short delay,
a smile returning to her face as she found something else to
talk about.
