Rules and standards not opinions.
You know like when we have lockdowns "we" follow the rules.
"They" don't follow the rules. They have lockdown breaking
parties and when found out claim to not know there were parties.
"They" travel London to Durham for child care arrangements
(ignoring the child care they've had in the same area
previously) and it's just lucky that there are two family
birthdays and a retirement in the family that coincide with the
trip that they initially cover up. And then just for the fun of
it they go for a drive (to tourist spot) just to test the
eyesight of the driver.
Them and us. Not differences of opinion, different rules and
different standards.
Golden Hellos, Handshakes and tax cuts as incentives for the
CEOs but benefit sanctions for everyone else.

My parents were Labour although they never really discussed
politics out of the house. My dad used to talk to all the
prospective MP's and local leaders when they came to the house
canvassing and then he would put all their posters in our front
room window so no one knew who he would vote for.

Oxalá in Portuguese, same meaning from the Arabic
وَشَاءَ
اللّٰه‎
(wašāʾallāh) - God willing.
Or le cúnamh Dé, as we say at home.

Copied from elsewhere for the benefit of those who don't
visit.......

So, conveniently, whilst Johnson is mired up to his neck in
partygate, there's a new row about to break with Brussels.
Edwin Poots (great name), ex-leader of the DUP and Sormont
Minister for Agriculture, Environment, and Rural Affairs has
declared that, from midnight, there would no longer be any
checks on goods entering NI from GB.... as agreed in the
Protocol.
HTML https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-60236169
BUT, this is not the UK breaking its own agreement say Brandon
Lewis, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, because
implementing the checks is Stormont's responsibility..... the
old devolution shuffle. Of course, this could have the effect of
a hard border being imposed by the EU - just what the Protocol
was designed to avoid, but then again, the DUP were in favour of
Brexit, unlike the majority of voters in NI.
Lewis claimes to have been surprised by the action, whilst
busily washing his hands........ but that's odd, because Liz
Truss told the DUP that the UK would not interfere if they did
it when she visited NI a week or so back!
Partygate? What, when Putin and the EU are likely to invade at
any second?!!!!!
