Social media is only as good (or bad) as the people contributing
to it. I limit my social media interactions to my friends and
family and this place these days.
       I avoid contentious places..

I didn't use Twitter for years, still don't really use it,
pretty much stopped using facebook, reddit I browse, mostly not
using it as it's become too toxic, and well since FB forces crap
on you rather than letting you view by most recent, they can
       suck it.
I wouldn't be surprised if facebook and others play this same
game, this one happens to be a lawsuit against OnlyFans accusing
them of conspiring to blacklist rivals.
I do think that it is time the government Ma Bell these social
       media companies.

I use one of two 'app add-ons' for Farcebook (depending on
browser).. both allow you to determine what and when you see -
       they make a difference.

I still find it impossible to follow. I can't tell who is saying
       what to whom.
But I did register a few months ago. I read something that I
couldn't just let pass and had to contradict it. :D

I don't use any of the normal "social media"..... and despite
multiple attempts to drag me in, I continue to resist.
I am on a few forums (fora?) and struggle to accept whether they
are classed as social media or not - paticularly when YouTube is
       often classified as such....
But Facebook, Twitter and their ilk are right out...... what did
       Zuckerberg ever do for us?!!
