Among the insane acts committed by these so called peaceful
protesters.....A fire bomb was tossed at or into a building, an
attempt was made to use handcuffs to prevent use of the entry to
an apartment complex which would have trapped residents,
assailing people on the street for wearing masks and in some
cases actually ripping them off. Of course we cannot forget the
non stop blowing of horns and the haze of diesel fumes. They
have been handled too gently, in my opinion. Peaceful
protesters, they were not.

What amazes me is that the right wing elements in both Canada
and the U.S who cry about supposed totalitarian control...fail
to realize that they are the wannabe totalitarians. Generally a
lot of religious bs goes along with it.

I have a truck driver friend who has 3 more years to go to have
60 in - he started at 17 before he had a license, so do the
math. As long as he keeps passing his physical and his tests
every year he's going to keep driving. He has studiously
avoided saying a word about these protests, but his face says he
thinks they're a bunch of goofs. I talked to him yesterday just
before he left so he's halfway to Toronto right now on a trip.
