My preference is Chopin Polish potato vodka, when I can afford
it - but I'll be interested to try that one! :D

One of our past bar managers turned me on to it (Luksusowa)
while talking about martinis. He liked the little pickled onion
instead of an olive in a vodka martini. I like it in all the
usual incarnations, lol, and it's affordable.

Best of luck to them.
I haven't been out there but my daughter has been a couple of
times and loves the place, did you know that it has the cleanest
air quality in Europe? Probably something to do with an economy
that is almost entirely agrarian based. From her descriptions of
the place I imagine it to be like Bulgaria - you are either
stinking rich (and possibly connected to the local mafia) or you
don't have a pot to piss in. She said that it seemed the people
either drove a Mercedes or a horse and cart.

Not really news, but Russia invading Ukraine may very well sway
mid-term US elections towards Republicans in November,
especially so if gas prices and food prices continue upward
trend.

I was surprised to read that there has been a run on Potassium
Iodide, apparently the stuff is flying off the shelves at the
moment. Are there really that many preppers out there, have the
conspiracy types had a promotional field day, how many of our
members have rushed out and bought some, now ready to flood
their thyroid at a moments notice?
