RTÉ One's Late Late Show on Friday, the highlight show of the
week, had all 1hr40mins dedicated to fundraising for the Irish
Red Cross appeal for Ukraine, with a direct appeal for support
from the Taoiseach, who criticised Putin directly and said that
Ireland has already donated €20m for refugee support so far....
this from a neutral country of under 5m people.

"Russia's foreign ministry called on European Union and NATO
countries on Saturday to "stop pumping weapons" to Ukraine, the
       Russian RIA news agency said.
It said Moscow was particularly worried that portable
anti-aerial Stinger missiles could end up in the hands of
terrorists, posing a threat to airlines."

with Russia "are clear to everyone."

He seems to have more screws loose than usual.
Maybe there is some truth to him being ill. Nothing scarier than
a crazy power hungry dictator with nothing to lose because they
       are dying.

And now someone has floated the idea that neutral Finland might
be considering joining NATO. Putin must be wondering what the
evil West have threatened them with to make them change their
       minds...

Brittney Griner, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and seven-time
Women’s National Basketball Association All-Star with the
Phoenix Mercury basketball team, has been arrested in Russia for
apparently having cannabis oil in her luggage when she arrived
last month in Moscow, she plays offseason for a Russian
       basketball team.
If she did have cannabis oil in her bags, not a smart idea. US
State Department says they are aware of the arrest and
       attempting to assist.
Visa & Mastercard suspending operations in Russia and will begin
to cease all transactions there. (Russia makes up about 4% of
       both companies net revenues.)
"cards issued in Russia will no longer work outside of the
country and any Visa cards issued outside of Russia will no
longer work within the country, the company said."
Russian Embassy in South Africa tweeted
“Dear subscribers, we have received a great number of letters of
solidarity from South Africans, both individuals and
organizations. We appreciate your support and glad you decided
to stand with us today, when Russia, like 80 years ago, is
       fighting Nazism in Ukraine!”
Germany South African Embassy Tweeted back.
“What [Russia] is doing in [Ukraine] is slaughtering innocent
children, women and men for its own gain.
“It's definitely not ‘fighting Nazism.’ Shame on anyone who's
falling for this. (Sadly, we're kinda experts on Nazism.)”
The US is determining what capabilities they could provide to
backfill Poland if it decided to transfer planes to Ukraine.
Prior to the invasion Shell had bought a limited amount of
Russian crude, it will put the profits from the Russian oil into

That makes sense coming from a BRICS member, and that's why the
Russian public can't see Twitter now. RT's website stopped
allowing people to sign in on any platform other than Telegram -
no more Disqus or Google or Facebook or Twitter, and any
comments critical of Russian actions are deleted asap.
