The Future Of Bearded Craft

o/ guys
time to inform you all about the future of the server 8)
as you all probably noticed the BC server is down atm
if what nxck said is correct that means mike hasn't paid the
server cost for this month 8(
so i'm not gonna wait any longer and gonna setup a server later
today (doing some important plugin tests first)
i'm gonna be opening 2 servers, 1 with creeperhost, and the
other with either : MCprohosting, or with Fragnet
The creeperhost server will be for a handfull of staff members
and builders, so we can rebuild a good spawn Asap in the
upcoming days
the other server (fragnet or mcprohosting) will be for all BC
players to play on,
and will act as a stress test to see how the server is holding
up compared to Creeperhost,
this way i can see how both servers operate and how they work
with the console and adding/removing files/plugins etc
i aim to please, so i want as little lag and other issues for
the server so we can all enjoy it without crashing or screaming
lag every few minuts :p
if either or both of the servers aren't preforming as intended
i'll be switching over to a different server provider untill we
find the server that fits our needs the best.
now what will happen with the current BC server,
i've asked nxck to contact mike asap so we can get the server
back up to see what we can save (if all files are still there or
if they got whiped)
if the files are still there we will be using those to restore
the server to original,
in the case we can't save the files or if they got whiped, that
means we have to do a fresh restart.
now you might wonder : if we're starting fresh,
what will happen with all our ranks/progress/kits etc :
well easy answer, Everything will be restored as much as
possible as how we had it on Bearded Craft
so if you where VIP, you will get your VIP rank Restored to you,
with all features that you previously had, (and possibly more in
the future)
the same goes for trusted ranks, these will also be restored.
(Vip ranks will get their rank restored to them Sooner though)
it might take some time but you will all get your Ranks restored
in the future,
same goes for kits, kits will be remade and members/trusted/vip
will get several kits to use in the future
k now i'm gonna head back to installing plugins to move over to
the server once it's up,
keep an eye on the forum for more details and probably a new
server ip adress.
also if you have Any questions, don't Hesitate to ask 8)
now i hope everybody is excited about the future of BC as i am,
and that we'll have a lot more fun times ahead of us on the
server 8)
