Okay Lumpy, I didn't know that. If I do ever find my self near a
farland-y area in the nether, I'll teleport away

Thanks Ellunas, if you can find a newly generated area with some
horses not near the farlands, that'd be great!

That is actually the plan some day soon; to border off the map
like most smart servers do. :P
It has gotten to the point the files are so large on the map it
is now required we do it.
Players will be required to take their builds/materials within
this 'x' radius from the official, new spawn. How far still has
yet to be determined.

That is a great idea. Kinda reminds me of The Last of Us, where
they have Quarantine Zones and its illegal to be outside of the
walls of the QZ

Alton its ok, ID is kind of paranoid of the farlands and most
mods will be too.

K, i have voiced my guilt in this matter, seeing as I'm the one
that showed everyone the farlands...and originally restricted
players from going there...
The lag is caused by opening new chunks, and with our mass
amounts of ocean. Everytime an ocean chunk loads, 100s of
thousands of sand get spawned, and fall into place, hence sever
lag. The nether its lava, and an assload of it. I understand
your bein pissed at havin to move, and I'm fairly certain that
as long as your house is decent looking, and not just a dirt
box it can be.moved for ya. Not sure, I won't be back full time
for another week or so so i haven't been able to check things
