Just have to rant about this... (16+ only out of preference)

Okay, what I'm about to rant about has NOTHING to do with
beardedcraft, or minecraft alone. It's just something people do
that grinds me gears and it's extremely prevalent on MMOs...
Anyways... What this is about is how people just LOVE to use the
term "Ga.y" as an insult. Let it be towards someone or to
something someone doesn't like. Look up the original term of
"Gay" and it was used to express happiness. Now it expresses a
sexuality, nothing bad with it... yet this wonderful society I
live in believes it's such a bad word that slinging it at things
or people you don't like left and right.
It's not just in games but in real life too, someone says
something like "Oh that game's G@Y"... Okay...since when has a
game been able to have a type of sexuality? "Are you ***!?!?
You've never kissed a girl!" So? Just because I've yet to be in
a relationship does not change my sexuality. I just wish society
would smarten up and use words for how they are meant to be
used. G** is meant to be a term of happiness and sexuality,
words like noob are to express new people not insults, Or how
B**** is meant to express a female dog...
Oui, sorry if this seems to be a touchy topic to rant about but
I'm just about fed up with people throwing words like that
around like nothing and as insults. I have family members with
that type of sexuality and I find it HIGHLY offensive when
people just use it as an uneducated insult ::)

I am 100% behind you on this. The homophobia and trollish
comments need to stop. Unfortunately most of our playerbase (and
apparently one of the new mods from what I can guess) is 8-12
years old, so what can you do?
Also I want to amend this with my own grievances? Please do not
ever say the words 'tranny' or 'shemale' or refer to a trans
person as anything other than the gender they identify with.
Doing so is going to make me yell and berate you savagely and I
don't want to be banned. Thanks kay bye~

I'll agree partially to the gender part... yes tyranny and
shemale is very demeaning.. but if people were to use that
case.. they are classified as transgenders / transsexuals..
As for the "gay" that's this kids generation .. goes along with
the crap they say now..... brah, son, bro.. I'm not your brah
bro or son.. and I'm definitely older then you.... show
respect.... respect is another thing that went out the window..
That being said, I have a 1yo son.. I'll ring him out if he ever
acts like this.
