You know, generally, I like to consider myself a fairly
level-headed player. Sure, sometimes I forget myself and toss a
few profane words out there, especially late at night when there
aren't many people around except for people I know. In fact,
that's when most of my playing is done. Late at night, early
morning.
Today I was reminded of WHY that is. I logged on around 11:30AM
CST, thinking I'd get a little bit of building done, maybe
mingle with some of the players I know that I hardly ever see.
And what do I log into?
I log into seeing a VIP player harassing a Trusted member,
KNOWING that that particular Trusted member would react in such
a way as to get himself banned. When told that he was being
obnoxious and that he should leave the Trusted player alone, the
VIP player's response was "What I'm doing isn't a bannable
offense! I haven't done anything wrong since January! I'm being
treated like a criminal!"
I'm not going to lie. The Trusted player he was harassing has
caused several problems on the server in the past, but that's no
reason for a VIP player, who should be viewed as a LOYAL AND
VALUED MEMBER OF THE BEARDEDCRAFT COMMUNITY, to take matters
into his own hands and try to force this Trusted player to act
in a manner unbefitting of server etiquette and get himself
banned. It's underhanded, unnecessary, and absolutely
unacceptable. This kind of inexcusable behaviour should be
grounds for some kind of punishment.
So thank you, unnamed VIP player, for reminding me exactly
fucking why I play at night, when all the fucking children are
tucked away so they don't piss me the fuck off.

Although I do enjoy the company of most of the players during
daytime; I would have to agree with you that the productivity is
best met during the later hours.
Flame-baiting a player is unacceptable when they are unstable to
begin with. I guess captain obvious needs to re-write the rules,
now.

I'd just like to point out to anyone reading that VIPs are not
immune to being banned.
Baiting another player may not be an overtly "bannable offense,"
but you can be damn sure it's unacceptable and will get you
placed at the top of staffs' ****-lists so that the second you
do something against the rules, you're gone. No warnings, no
second chances. You're members of a community; be courteous and
respectful or get out.
And really, maybe baiting isn't an overt offense, but I'm not so
sure I wouldn't just go ahead and ban you, anyway. Nothing gets
under my skin more than blatant, unwarranted disrespect.

We NEED more mods to stop things like this and stuff like the
Wizz King Converstion, We haev 8 admins+mods I believe and a lot
of active people and new people.

I must agree with ya Xum, i like most of out community but as
you said, its a different kinda chance to socialize after the
Su. Goes down. Now, to the unknown VIP, do I really need to
point out my ban first, let you explain to nick how bein a *****
isn't against the rules. Respect is a basic rule of life. Be
happy you ran into Xum instead of me.

Glad we finally brought this to attention. I've noticed VIPS
tend to be the problem childs of the server (At least for me!) I
dunno if it's that they get the idea they are above the law
because they paid or what, but every major issue (Those mental
breakdowns of rage I've had here) have been caused by VIPS
atagonizing me. So yeah, but Please VIPS just because you pay
doesn't mean we can't punish you. Your just like everyone else,
so please, be smart, and don't be like the spoiled rich kid that
no one ever wants to talk to! 8)

Welp..... This is what I get for not using the forums untill
like June, I find a post that says this.... I think I was the
unknown VIP player, and the unknown Trusted Player was
Dragonborn/death_predator, man he was annoying before he got
banned...
