Rabid, I wasn't saying base the decisions on the player votes.
The idea being twofold, 1 the players feel like they have more
input into the future of the server they love so dearly.. and 2
you boss-types have an idea of what the playerbase would like to
see happen. Even if you completely ignore the polls and
implement against the votes, at least you'd know what we, the
hoard, think.

there were other things I was trying to stop from happening. I
am a player Lun, I have the ability to think what id say or
think if server staff did it to me. I also have the ability to
see past the over reacting, desk flipping Id do as a player and
see the end goal. Deep down, by keeping the general masses in
the dark til it is time Im trying to avoid beardedcraft from
goin all War of the Worlds style mass panic(the orson wells
radio play, not the movie).

I just think there should be a max level to a job, such as 30.
That makes it to where you can't get to lvl 98 and earn about
$85 a block. I will agree though that it is overused.

I somewhat agree with paige. Maybe we should set different
levels (level 30 at max for members, level 50 for trusted, etc)
for different ranks. Plus, if some people try to get a higher
level and they can only get to a certain level, they get really
mad and want to complain. But meh......
But some people abuse the jobs plugin like s***. Some people
with a builder job builds up to the sky, getting money. And with
the digger job nerfed, some people have given up on it. But
also, if you're something such as a hunter, it's legit I think
if you use a spawner for xp to enchant things. So I think the
hunter job stays, no matter what. Miner gotta be certain levels
to certain ranks. That's to prevent level 100 miners in a couple
hours. So suggest some levels for certain ranks. I think Vips
and up should get an unlimited job level (possibly another perk
to vip??). But, some people like Tunnler who were original staff
of the server should also have the unlimited Vip job level.
Woodcutter, Enchanter, Brewer, etc really don't get you millions
so we should leave well alone.
That's my thought about this.
Dan out~

Dan, the Jobs plugin and those who abused it is the BIGGEST
reason the economy is f*cked. Sounds to me like you are just
scrambling to keep the right to make +$30 a block, which is
stupidly insane btw. The fate of /jobs is unknown at the moment.
and I completely disagree with the idea of higher ranks gettin
higher levels cause it seems it was vips and trusted that abused
the system to date. have caught very few members or staff
digging mass pits to bedrock for the jobs money, not the
materials, or skinning deserts and plains and leaving the dirt,
seeds, plants, etc to clag.

Not one single staff member mentioned resetting the economy did
we??(Lun, this is what I was trying to avoid)
Please do not jump to conclusions everyone. Dont worry, the
system we are working on will take some getting used to, but it
will all work out in the end

So here's an easy fix (assuming it can be implemented) for the
jobs issue.
I sort of agree with paige, but I also disagree. If I do the
work, I want more levels. (That's just the gimmie in me.)
But to prevent exploitation, an income cap should be set for
every player, individually. So, no matter what job they use and
no matter what level they are, they can only make $xx per day
via the jobs plugin. This promotes the concept of players
progressing in the jobs, giving them good reason to keep a
specific job and work on it for money.. without letting them
flood the economy with exploited cash. All it'll do is shorten
the length of time it takes to reach that cash cap for the day.

Can you set the jobs to pay only on pickup?
