another fly weekend

I suggest another fly weekend, well multiple actually, a fly
weekend on the weekend before or after summer break begins, as
well as one during Christmas time.

We might have one if we hit the 5,000 Player Mark. :)
It's all Nick/Mike's decision though.

Fly weekend every weekend certainly has it's pros and cons.
Firstly, the map is already massively spread out. Players seem
to travel hours just to set up their game-play in BFE.
Secondly, /Fly is a vital part of our thanks to our donators
whom help support the server financially.
- Making that less meaningful will cut our potential profit,
sadly.
A very nice idea, though harmful for BeardedCraft long-term.
:( Sorry.
However, this is not to say we will never see another Fly
Weekend in celebration of an event in the future!
bcHQ already has a lot planned for it's Community as-is, rest
assured. ;D

I don't know if it's do-able, but a potential suggestion to
implement this without over-providing?
Would it be possible to grant a specific player fly time for a
specific alloted amount of time? IE: Merry Christmas, you can
fly for up to one hour.

I would have to agree with Nick. Since CreeperHost costs about
$30 a month to run BeardedCraft, the donations and anything out
of Nick or ID's pocket helps run the server. So it may seem fun
for everyone to repair their items, feed themselves, and fly, it
hurts the server. A lot people on the server have rather donated
or are members. And giving EVERYONE permission to Vip+ commands,
it would hurt the server's donations since everyone would be
asking for a fly weekend a lot. So maybe when Nick implements a
higher donation package (which he keeps forgetting!!! :P ) So
some people who know BeardedCraft is their home server, will
want to donate more than the regular $10. What will be included
in the higher donation, no idea. It's up to Nick and Mike......

Agreed. Unless you pay your parents $10 and they put it on their
card and buy you Vip, then it's somewhat easy :P

Me too :)
While fly weekend was fun, I can definetly see how everything
could be misused, for Example:
Repair-Tools have no value, trolls might trick players into
paying 4 repairs
Fly-Much easier travel, and a main aspect of vip was gone
Feed-Food loses value, Vip only power lost, Not survival anymore
/d Every1 sees it, Nxck removed this, what-4 hours in to fly
weekend?
Along with these problems and others, ppl will also start to
expect more fly weekends, and might be angry or throw a tantrum
if they don't get it. Vip loses its value, and BC is destroyed.
While no ones pressuring you to buy it, its yet another way to
support the server, fun, and you have more free time. ON the
other hand, you don't NEED vip. Look how far Rob and Lumpy have
come!
