The 3 second waiting period to tpa/warp

The 3 second waiting period is okay for pvp but not so much for
outside pvp. When the 3 second waiting first came out I was
mining obsidian for ID and I was trapped in lava and he couldn't
help by tping me because I was moving (burning) during the time.
And many people have been trapped in lava and haven't been able
to go home or anywhere. Even if they burn at home at least they
can keep their stuff. Also if someone accidentally falls off the
edge of the end they cant go home to save their stuff. I was
curious can the 3 second waiting period only be in pvp areas or
not at all. It can help many ragging from loosing items outside
of pvp. Thanks ;D

I agree. its like we don't have access to /fly and /warp in PVP
Areas but I think we should have a 3 second way in PVP. 0.5
second TP (When warping)(When in Non-PVP areas). so I hope you
fix this Nxck, we are counting on You!

As far as I know, so far the only way to have the 3 second delay
in PVP is to also have it globally. So, either we have it 3
second in PVP and everywhere, or not at all.. making PVP a much
bigger crying game than it already is.
I was hoping for the same thing, but without another plugin in,
so far, its the only option. I'm not sure another plugin is a
good idea, but that is up to Nick.
Also, if this is supposed to be a survival/legit server, you
shouldn't be able to TP out of lava... stay out of lava..
problem solved.

last I checked we can have it so you cant tp outta certain
flagged areas. that would be the only way, but then...
How you suppose you get out of pvp areas???

Woulden't you be able to disable the timer globally and be able
to zone out PvP zones, I understand if the plugin is not like
that, but I have seen numerous Bukkit plugins that allow that
ability, however it isn't that bad, unless you accidentally fall
off a floating town a lot... Ahem, me :P
Every two seconds when i'm gathering supplies and visiting my
town, I usually fall off and have to wait till I hit the water
and wait 3 seconds, which happens A LOT, but otherwise it isn't
that much of a issue.

I believe thereis a plugin that lets you tp whenever you want
but when hit by an enemy you cannot tp away til 30 seconda after
punched

I had a problem with this when I was using enderpearls and
glitched into a wall and suffocated. Because I could not tp out.

Just swim out of the lava far enough then place water against
the nearest wall. You'll survive (unless you're unarmoured or in
the nether)
